Heritage Music Academy

My daughter goes to this place for piano lessons! The teachers here are very friendly. They all know what they are doing. They love teaching piano and enjoy their work with the kids. Highly recommend!

My son is taking piano classes at Heritage Music Academy, and since he started with his new teacher at HMA (Florence), we have notice he is progressing more on his piano and overall music skills. The most important change is he also looks more motivated and enjoying playing piano, what I find it a very important part of the learning process. The school has been very flexible any time we need to re-schedule a lesson due to schedule conflicts. His teacher is very nice and always on time for the classes, the rest of the staff is friendly. We are very happy with the experience so far.

I scheduled an assessment for my daughter but someone forgot to put it in the teacher’s calendar. Therefore we showed up but the teacher was not there. Disorganized. Will not be going back.

I have been very impressed with Heritage Music Academy. All instructors have been very professional. Both of my daughters have demonstrated a lot of progress since we switched to Heritage.

My daughter has been taking lessons here for a few months. Her teacher has been attentive, knowledgeable and motivating. I really like the positive and focused learning environment. The owners are very friendly and professional and really care about your success. A great place to learn music in Markham.

Had a wonderful experience. My instructor was knowledgeable and patient in explaining both practical and theoretical concepts. Helped me build confidence to take my skills to the next level despite me starting out a bit later than people usually do. The two areas where I've appreciated the guidance the most is around technical skills and presentation.

This place was good about a year ago but after changing to a different teacher(Rina) I've had a horrible experience. I'm sure she is a great teacher but her time management is horrible. She consistently starts class late and ends on time. I paid for a 30min class not a 20min class. If I multiply the time lost, she is technically shorting me one class every 3 weeks. I'm sure not all the teachers are like this. And I'm sure Rina isn't like this with all her students but this experience with her has left a sour taste with Heritage. It also seems like the school likes to book appointments on the dot expecting the teachers not to update the parents. And believe me. Some parents talk a lot and waste next students time. Extremely Disappointed in heritage and their time and employee management.
