this was the best sandwich of my life. let me spin you a yarn that starts in an apartment at ubc. the yellow deli is mentioned. its appeal? its… interesting origins. naturally, upon the discovery of TWENTY FOUR HOUR SERVICE (24/5 !!!!!) we embark on a journey including cars trains busses and transportation of every other kind to arrive at our destination. first off: packed. a popular spot at 9pm. second off, a slightly curt host followed by the most lovely man i’ve ever met as our waiter. when my friend spilled their mango maté (delicioso btw) he was the most accomodating soul and brought us many a napkin. the sandwich and hotdog came. we feasted like we were knights at the round table. i myself had the deli rose sans mustard. and tomatoes. let me just say: i am a picky eater. that bread was actually so good i need more of it in my soul. if they want me to pull wagons like i’m a horse on the farm in exchange for the bread i will do it. my boyfriend got a piña colada. also 10/10 smackeroons it was delectable. the energy in the room? fantastic. accessible washrooms with reading material and a great mirror to pose in. lovely dim lighting. we had a cream cheese strawberry pie for dessert and my god if it was not luscious. i think this may have been the highlight of my year. to many more yellow deli trips, and to you coming as well.

It's our first time dining here! The food is great! The people that work here are also great! When we came in here, they're celebrating their 50th anniversary. They gave us free samples of their drinks and cupcakes. It's really nice!

Staff is super nice and friendly. Restaurant is clean and organized. Food was delicious. I usually don’t finish a full plate of food because I get full easily and always end up taking my leftovers home. Today I ate my whole burger because it was that good. Slightly on the salty side but I like salty so it didn’t affect me much. Through flavours you can tell everything is homemade and fresh. We will definitely be going back and recommending everyone to try this place. They don’t serve pork (due to religion) at all so the meat options are chicken, beef, turkey or lamb. They also have a veggie burger and I don’t remember exactly but I think maybe* vegan options too.

Place is amazing. Food was so fresh, healthy and delicious of course. So to drive there for brunch was totally worth it. My husband is so picky and he loves their sandwich. We went there on weekend so waiting line was quite long so we didn’t get time to sit there and eat. So we ordered to go. For sure I’ll be back for dine in.

I don't know why I've never tried this place before. It was phenomenal! I literally haven't had a better chicken burger in my life than what I got here. I tried 4 things: butternut squash soup, chicken sandwich and 2 desserts. Everything was 10/10. Must try!

I would have given them 10 stars rating if I could for sure. It was absolutely worth one hour driving from Vancouver to Chilliwack to experience a local restaurant. Staffs were very friendly and professional and service was great. You can easily find wood, leather and stone being used for the interior design very uniquely. Quality and taste of the meal were off the chart. Everything was very clean and pleasant. I cannot recommend more strongly to give it a try and I guarantee it won't disappoint you.
