Enterprise Rent-A-Car
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I had. I tried calling the London, Ontario airport since 10 a.m. on July 9, 2023. No one answered any of the multiple calls I made. I eventually made a reservation through the call centre and received my confirmation. Within 15 minutes, I received a call from the London location to advise that the call centre does not know their inventory and that they had no cars available and I would be placed on a waitlist. I expressed my disappointment and advised that this rental was important. I explained I was driving almost 45 minutes from home and that I did not want to waste my neighbour's time or gas as they were giving me a ride to pick the car up. She promised to call and confirm by 5:00 p.m. as my pick up was for 6:00 p.m. I waited until 5:15 p.m. without a call back. I called several times and received no answer as I had experienced since 10:00 a.m. that day. I called the call centre 2 times on two separate calls, they directed me to customer service, I spoke with three different agents on 3 separate calls, I was then directed to the escalations team. The agent who took my escalated call apologised for how I was treated. She indicated that there were plenty of cars showing available and was unsure why anyone would tell me I was on a waitlist. She advised me that she was going to get to the bottom of this. What did she do? Transfer me to the number for the location - the one I told her no one was answering. She was the third person to tell me that the location had cars, that my reservation was showing confirmed and not waitlisted. I was too exhausted to call Enterprise for the 6th time since 5:15 p.m. My neighbour drove me to the airport. I went inside for the car and was advised by the rudest person I ever met that they cannot give me a car as they had none. Before she assisted me, there was a gentleman at the other counter being assisted by her co-worker. She asked her co-worker if he just got off the flight and the co-worker responded, No

Was a little hesitant dropping off the car without someone going over it for damages first but took the chance because the hours were the best. I had nothing to worry about and customer service was great. Would definitely rent from here again.
