Had Cataract surgery, from when I checked in the all staff were welcoming and looked after me in a very professional manner. Lucy who was my Pre op and Post op nurse was professional and amazing. My surgeon Dr Khan was professional and had a great bed side" manner to make me feel comfortable during my eye surgery. All in all my experience at Voak Health was more than I expected and I very much appreciated their efforts. Thank you!"

This health clinic is the worst. Find a different ophthalmologist if you can. Reception staffs are rude and unfriendly. There was an older lady she is little better but the rest is bad. I took my mom there today, May 25th, 2022. The girl with the glasses at the reception today was pure rude. This clinic also had 3 different ophthalmologists changed in last 6 months.

I had my eye surgery with Dr.Beti who was very professional and kind. I was very nervous and she made me feel relaxed.Lucy was also very amazing ! I met her right before my surgery and then after. She was such a kind and sweet lady and made me feel at ease. She was easy to talk to and understood I was nervous and did her best to make me feel better. Everyone needs someone like Lucy in their office !She made the whole experience much more easier.

Brampton Location - I was referred and went when it was Carrot Eye Clinic, liked it there. Friendly staff.With Voak, I had some trouble getting a hold of them to make an appointment but was able to get one fairly fast. Seems like the same staff from Carrot Eye Clinic and they're quite friendly.

I have been taking my grandpa here for a while now more than 3 appointments each time the doctor Dr. Hann actually walks in the room is close to an hour or more later than the actual appointment. The staff I would say are not the best and don’t know how to handle hard of hearing seniors. They call their name in the waiting room and if they are not heard it’s like a to bad so sad who’s next type of thing. It’s really sad the lack of care. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I required urgent care due to a loss of vision that suddenly developed. They got me in to see Dr Han on no notice in Oakville and were very through. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had me fixed up in no time. The receptionist at the Brampton office bent over backwards to help me with an unexpected follow up visit . I am very grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care.

I had an excellent experience with Voak Eye Clinic. My doctor's refferal was handled quickly and efficiently. The administrative and technical staff were very good and my appointment went very well. The wait time was about 15 minutes and the reception area was clean, covid safe, and hygenic. Dr Davidson took his time with me and outlined my issue and potential solution. He was great! I would highly recommend them for eye care.

I was very disappointed with my Cataract surgery outcome. I would recommend searching for another clinic for any cataract surgery. Dr. Khan put a stitch in the eye during surgery. I believe the surgery generally went ok. Eye was clearing up nicely and at the day 7 checkup vision was clear. Then everything went south fast. Dr Hana did the checkup and took out the stitch. It would not come out easy, so he pulled on my eye until my vision distorted and my eye felt like the shape of a football. then the stich gave way and the eye bounced back to shape. 15 mins later driving home vision in eye became completely blurred, like it was during the surgery. I could not see anything out of the eye for nearly 2 days. Called the clinic, they said don't worry. A month later I am seeing pulsars at night when looking at lights. Then at 3 months I got this new problem, with a dark cloud with black fish net like lines through it blocking my vision. And my eye became extremely dry. Was told I had vitreous detachment now. A couple days later start seeing pulsing flashes in the eye, had to go in for emergency retinal detachment check, lucky it did not detach.Also have issue with the cap trying to grow onto the lens causing overall blurriness. Bottom line is my eye is worse off now than it was before the surgery.Before surgery they lied when I asked them if I would have dry eye issues after surgery, they said no, not true. I was also told that my minor astigmatism would be corrected with the new lens, not true, I still need glasses even though they made it sound like there was a very good chance I would not need them.They did not even discuss that there would be an issue with intermediate distance vision, which I need for doing my daily work on a computer. Needed to buy special glasses now just for computer work.Went to another clinic to see if anything could be done to help, answer was not really. If they change the lens my dry eye problem will get worse, the Yag laser will not help with the overall blurriness very much, the surgery for removing floaters is too risky they will no recommend it.Basically I am stuck now with this buggered up eye.When the time comes, I will not be going back to Voak to get the other eye operated on.
