This place is a hidden gem! Their roasted pork is really good! I like the crispiness of the pork skin that you can hear the crunch sound while eating them. Their BBQ pork is one of the bests also by putting just the right amount of balance between sweet and salty. The service was good. I believe one family runs this business and the son is the one who always at the first counter. He was nice and polite when you talk to him.

**HIDDEN GEM ALERT**hands down the BEST BBQ and roast pork in Toronto. if youre looking for authentic cantonese bbq that stays true to their craft, eat here. they are a family run business thats known for serving true chinese bbq and offer a variety of meats to choose from. my friends and i have been ordering here for 10+ years, all who find themselves craving for hehe long.i recommend getting the roasted duck or bbq pork. depending on what you order, it comes with sauteed cabbage on a bed of fluffy rice. the bbq pork always has crispy skin and has never tasted dry.id recommend coming in earlier because there are times where the line-up is 10-20min during the evening. the owners are always super friendly: one time we had a simple interaction and i mentioned i was bringing it to a small get together at the park. he packed extra forks and napkins without me having to ask. i really appreciate these simple gestures because it shows me they want our meal to be truly enjoyed :).cash only, clean, authentic.

My favorite place for roast duck. Bought a whole roast duck and BBQ pork for dinner. The roast duck was as tasty as usual, the meat was tender and juicy. For the bbq pork I specifically asked for lean meat to feel a bit healthier LOL. Usually I heat up the food to taste even better. The owner family there was very friendly.

I was in the area and noticed some beautiful bbq pork and duck hanging by the window and decided to order take out. I’ve decided to order the BBQ pork on rice and it’s absolutely delicious, it’s so juicy and tender. The meal came with bbq pork, rice, cabbage and a soup. There was way more rice than shown in the picture it just didn’t all fit in my plate, it was around $13.5 with taxes it’s an amazing price for such a big portion of food.

I ordered the Siu Yuk (crispy pork) and Brasied tofu.Chef was nice to suggest which part I should order as what I need the meat for (put it in the dish with other veggies)Staff was nice too as she was polite to offer me more sauce.Overall, very clean store with friendly staffs.

Had been to this place for few years however the new front guy is just amazing (missed asking his name). My experience at Chinese bbq places had always been hit or a miss - they tend to sneak in cold/stale meats the moment they know you are not Chinese (SMH). But he is different. He asks you about the cuts, likings and is very generous. He is the reason I would recommend everyone to visit this place. Love the food and service !!!

Really delicious food, juicy BBQ. Just wish that they would be more transparent with the prices. The sign board (according to the restaurant) was not updated. Half a duck is now $25 (not $16).. that's a lot of price hike in a short time (was $16 less than 6 months ago when I last visited).Wonder if it's only for the lunar new year day...Ps. Cash only

WHAT. LIKE WHAT. I have no words for this place.I almost spent $25+ at pho train... But at 6pm i saw the chinese bbq just hanging in front of the window and that told me 2 things. They're so busy that at this time they replenish fresh BBQ and its GOOD.Michael, the chef at the counter, runs this family business now and thank God because our chinese parents want us to get corporate jobs... but this. chinese bbq. Is. An art. And i was always fearful that it would become a lost art. His father assist by cashing out patrons. He so sweet and funny. He can tell i know that his bbq is the real deal judging by the places i named.I got 3 combo rice, roast pork, red sausage, and duck. Duck is extra. I also got a side of octopus. To die for. The cabbage is to die for. The soup is to die for. Totally worth your time and money. I couldnt leave the parking lot without writing a review.Cash only here guys. So i had to run to my car for money.. by the time i came back... it was like a lineup of 7people. That should say enough. A BONUS? They give bougie chopsticks. The kind that do not need to be split. You'll see.Absolutely phenomenal. This place rivals anywhere in the gta. Prob all of Ontario. Super gangster keep it up guys.

Sneaky owners. Watch out and the BBQ pork was OK.I was here on January 1, 2022 6:30 PM, It was my first time and I requested BBQ pork. The gentleman (who I think was the son) grabbed one from the display hanging rack and weighed it to be 1.7 lbs. He asked if I would like it chopped and I said yes AND this is where my story took a bad turn...While he was chopping, he asked me if I wanted anything else, I requested additional sauce for the BBQ pork (which they charge additionally for - no big deal) and then went to take a look at the other meat. Quickly turning back to the gentleman, I asked about the squid and his eyes quickly darted to match mine. He looked slightly nervous and guilty - as though I caught him doing something he shouldn't be doing. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said that I'll just be taking the BBQ pork.He handed me the container over the counter and I walked to the cash register to pay. For 1.7 lbs, it seemed a little lighter than I expected. Not to cause a fuss, the other owner (whom I believe is the mother) rang me in according to the tag for 1.7 lbs. Total for the BBQ pork and the extra 1/2 cup of soy sauce + tax came to $26.20.I couldn't shake the look that the son gave to me so when I arrived home, I took out my digital food scale to check my suspicion. SURPRISE! OR rather not?! As indicated in the attached picture, the weight was nowhere near 1.7 lbs but magically became 1.139 lbs AND this even includes the weight of the container and the soy sauce that was added (of course before the additional 1/2 cup I ordered).Being a little upset, I called the shop to have the mother answer the phone. She denied anything shady happening and would be happy to give us back the ~ 1/2 lbs difference when we go back to their shop next time. She wasn't rude but did consistently mention that there was no mistake and sometimes these things happen. Hmm...how does ~1/2 lbs of meat disappear on the ride home?In summary, their BBQ pork was OK, if you have no other choices make sure you keep a close eye on your purchase or don't be surprised that some of the meat magically runs away without you knowing. There are other reviewers who mentioned a similar experience so buyer beware.

A hidden gem located in North York area.Food: 5 out of 5, amazing BBQ pork. That's why this shop have been here for quite sometime.Service: 4 out of 5. They taking care of your crave. Of course it's just a small shop, friendly service though. It's close to self-serve, it's the cashier and the sifu being nice.Ambience: 2.5 out of. Not much of ambience. It's their food make up the lost points.Price: 3 out of 5. I am willing to pay for their quality. It's not cheap comparing to other BBQ shops. If it isn't their food quality. I wouldn't pay for it.Overall 4 out of 5: It's about right. As you can tell I have emphasized their BBQ pork quality. It is so good that compensates everything.
