Well Tea
Well Tea serves delicious and authentic Taiwanese food and hotpot. I would recommend the popcorn chicken, which is seasonally to perfection and accompanied by light vegetable appetizers. The well" in the name of the restaurant refers to a stone shaft that is filled from the top by water coming from a bamboo pipe."

Went for lunch and ordered some of their lunch specials!!! The one that I got was the beef noodle soup. It was awesome!! It didn’t taste salty. Some resto usually have that way too salty. Although, I wish it would have more meat. The rest of the food were good too!!! The flavours stayed the same since pre covid! That’s not even the highlight!! The highlight for my family there is, that was our toddlers very first time going to a restaurant that she can taste “adult” food! We told the person who helped us (which I failed to ask her name but) that the fish is for a golfer and she literally flicked a switch and said, “okay, less or no salt, no MSG, and no deep fried. Got it.” My wife and I were quite shocked and at the same time, relieved. That was a great introduction of trust! My family and I really enjoyed the food and time there!!! We definitely will go back to our routine of ordering from this restaurant again. Good job guys! Keep it up! Keep up the cleanliness too!!

Love this Taiwanese style fried rice noodle, mixed with lots of healthy veggies. This noodle is simple. Yet it not only tastes good but its colorful presentation also cheers up my tastebuds. The noodle with iced oat milk simply make my day! Last but not least, cherry blossoms are seen outside Well Tea. Please come visit before they are gone … (2023/3/23)

Lots of choices on the menu, even a whole page dedicated to vegetarian dishes! Their fried food is well done, and bubble teas/assorted other drinks are delicious. Service is quite good for a BBT place. The servers are nice and generous with giving you a cup of water and refill them without prompt! (Most of bbt places don't do that.)

Great place to hang out especially if you have a large group. Best to get there early as once it gets busy part of your order sometimes gets delayed in the shuffle of things. They have decent priced and portioned special set menu items (comes with a drink like bubble tea). Free surface parking. #covid #letsguide

Spacious and the servers were super nice! They would recommend things on the menu that does go well with we have ordered already, our size & budget. Hoping there's less visible clutter & a better lighting, but other than that, it's super good! It was also nice that we were able to split our payments, so going out here with friends is not a stress!

Menu has many popular Taiwanese dishes and drinks as well as lunch specials. They are able to accommodate large groups. Food quality is generally good but wait times for the food can be long especially if you have a large group.

Well Tea
It's a cute, clean, Taiwanese restaurant. They have an extensive bubble tea menu with lots of flavours. They also have lots of Taiwanese classics, hot pot, udon, sides, noodle soups, and fried rice dishes. Overall, the food is average and reminiscent of mall food court quality Asian food. The fried chicken is flavourful but on the greasier side. Portions are nice, large, and filling. Soup is decent.

Good hang around spot. Not too crowded. Pop corn chicken is crispy & delicious. Beef sizzling plate with side dishes are tasty.

Well Tea used to be a busy place back in its heyday, but seems to have died down a bit. An Asian Hotspot for drinks, noodles and rice dishes, it's a nice place to try out if you find yourself in Richmond.I usually get their Hotpot but decided to try their Noodle Soup, choosing udon, beef slices and fried fish cakes. My family ordered a Fried Rice and Mince Meat Noodle, I think it was. Also a Nutella Toast for dessert.I understand the Mince Meat Noodle was only average, although the Fried Rice was really good. My Noodle Soup was served in a big bowl with lots of beef slices and tasted fine. The Nutella Toast was apparently pretty good. The prices are reasonable here, and the food is about what you'd expect for the price point. Not fantastic, but enough to satisfy.Give it a whirl, but be warned that parking can be a major headache as Well Tea is located in a tiny complex with few parking spaces available.
