We bought 10 fish. 3 of them does before we got home. Another 2 died within 2 hours, 3 more a day later. 3 days after the purchase, I was left with 1.I went back to the store and tried to meet with them in the middle and see if they'd refund half of the $$$ spent.They just kept repeating that as per their policies, they can't do anything for me. They blamed me, my tank and didn't even acknowledge I was trying to say.They offered me a couple of $$$ refund, just trying to get rid of me.They also told me that I should call the manager instead of arguing with them.I got frustrated and left, refusing to call back. What's the point? If the staff is like that, what else can I expect?Before you buy any fish from this store, please take a look at the tanks and check out the crazy amount of dead fish. I've learnt my lesson. Please, learn from mine.

Every time I come in to Mr. Pets I’m always welcomed with warm smiles and friendly greetings. The professional staff are always ready to help and I have never left dissatisfied! I have a pet store closer to me but I always make the longer journey to Mr. pets for all my furry friends needs :). Diva, the manager, and Jae have gone above and beyond in ensuring I get the right thing every time on many occasions!.With Christmas around the corner they have also come close to convincing me adopting one of their cats! Until then I plan on coming back to Mr. Pets every time.Thank you to all!11/10 would recommend

My wife and I love this place. Different selection from mainstream stores, good consistent staff. What more can you ask for?

Fantastic service. Lots of item selections for all pet kinds. I would recommend if you’re in a hurry, not too busy. It’s also great that it’s its own building, not in a plaza, and NOT in the same place as Canadian tire.5 star experience, but since I don’t support animal breeding for commercial profit, 4 stars.

best chain store i've ever been to, Chilliwack MrPets is a close second. we bought my girl Chicken (a pearl gourami) from this store, have you ever seen one of those parrot cichlids on youtube that swim into your hand and greet you? that's basically what she does. they have an absolutely amazing selection of fish and plants, I love how they put ottocinclus catfish and some other nanofish in with the plants to fertilize them. their betta fish are beautiful and well cared for, the only problem i've seen in their bettas is they sometimes mislabel the types of bettas like calling a halfmoon a veiltail for example, but almost every pet store i've been to has at least 2 mislabeled bettas, this store has only had a mislabeled betta one time when i've been there, the staff are friendly and know a lot about fish. there's so much more good things about this store i want to share, but I don't want this to be too long. anyways, go here for any of your fish needs!

I love this Mr. Pets! The staff are so nice and they are knowledgeable on proper care for animals. Each person seems to have a speciality. I buy insects for my geckos, frogs and tarantula there. I buy SO many supplies for them all and treats for my dog + cat too. I have 7 bioactive terrariums that are mostly furnished" with Mr pets inventory including cleanup crew insects!I also got three healthy firebelly toads from here and my bf adopted a 3 year old surrendered ball python named Henry. Love this place and the staff ❤️"

The staff are amazing, and their great customer service. The staff were helpful in every aspect. Helping me puck the best items for my beardie. They have alot of things other pet stores don't have, they can also special order things if they don't have them. My kids love all the different animals they have and the wall of a wide variety of fish. Their prices are great lower than some competition. The also sell live crickets, silk worms and hornworms so I have a very happy beardie. I would definitely recommend this Mr Pet location, you won't find better customer service!

Great selection of food options for our dog. Friendly, helpful staff at the counter. Good store hours and plenty of parking!
