Monsieur Drain

Had a tenant this morning that called to complain that the sewer line was backing up and overflowing. So I called this company and they told me they would charge 475$ - 10% for the online promo code to come and unclog the line and that they could be there this afternoon. They then called me 30 mins before arriving on site, they then passed a camera through the pipes until they found the blockage which was at 20 feet deep, they then inserted a fish to remove the blockage, and then retested with the camera until 50 feet deep to make sure everything was nice and working normally. Professional people and they did a good job in a quick time. Would use them again.

We had our first excellent experience with them in 2020 and now as another issue arrives they have provided excellent service. A great team all around. Trustworthy and respectful, knowledgable and clear.

I discovered that I had a symptom-less, partial clog in my 43 year old sewer pipe by accident while installing a hot water heater. If I could have successfully cleaned this partial clog myself, I would have, but on the advice of the city where I live, I called a professional in order to obtain the recommended hydro-jet technology. I approached 2 enterprises with a list of written questions, and Max at Monsieur Drain was the only one comfortable enough with my questions to give me believable answers, by phone and by email. My partial clog was located 5 feet from the basement clean-out, at the junction of a 4 inch ABS pipe and a 6 inch cement pipe, due to tree roots getting into the joint. Max had warned me that some roots are so soft that they can't be jetted off. So I decided ahead of time not to expect a final result that would look like the plumbing was brand new.On the agreed day of their visit, technicians Lucas and Jonas telephoned me to say that would be able to arrive 90 minutes early. My situation made it easy and fast for them to set up their equipment. They made 3 successive attempts over 30 minutes to remove the blockage, each time removing a little more of the obstruction while using more aggressive tools and approaches. They left me a video of their combat from which I grabbed (after) photos to post here. Before leaving, they gave me good advice about how to best maintain my sewer drain and what options might be available in the future should the clog return. I realize that not everyone will obtain results as positive as mine, but I think Monsieur Drain deserves a crack at the bat.

We had an emergency on a Friday evening of all nights! We immediately contacted Mr Drain and within 30 minutes they were at our house. Unfortunately, the problem was far more severe than we anticipated, but the team at Mr Drain was extremely professional, courteous, reliable, and always answered our calls and texts. The job they did was incredible, and I don't know where we'd be without their help!Thank you to Howard and his entire staff for what you did for us!! I highly recommend Mr Drain.

Do not hire Monsieur Drain!They will take your money and run! They said that The Condo Association needs to fix things but then decided to change the story! I am now being manipulated by the Condo Association who does not want to inspect this problem and the plumbers who do not want to get involved.However, when Monsieur Drain was at my house they were telling me that they would speak to the Condo Association about this problem. This was told to me after I paid them $800. I was honest and paid this amount. But they are dishonest and never spoke to The Condo Association! They are after your money and that is all. Corrupt!

I would give this company a zero star. DO NOT HIRE this plumber. My store manager said they were there for 10 minutes only on a Saturday. They charged us $1063.52 for putting a snake down the toilet plumbing and said they could not do anything. Yes, I wrote this correctly, One Thousand and Sixty three dollars, 52 cents !!!!! They will rip you off, it is ridiculous to make over $1000 in 10 minutes of work.

Didn't complete the job and didn't want to come back after payment. Very rude on the phone. Don't use this company. I suggest using Montreal drain who offers a much better service.

Great service! I called for two blocked drains on a 26th of December, and the guys were there the next morning. The guys were courteous, efficient and careful (didn’t bang my cabinets / walls / floors like most do…). Thanks Lucas and Jonah — nice guys!

The visit was amazing, the guys knew what they were doing, provided excellent service, and were able to do a camera inspection of my drains with ease.
