Do not rent a car from Avis!!! Staff is confused. They charged us HUNDREDS of dollars extra for no valid reason. We have been trying to contact a manager for 2 weeks with no response. We went in twice to discuss our bill and the same staff member acted like she had never seen us before. We have large groups of family visiting and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Booked a full size sedan and when we arrived we were given a Tahoe! We were told we could come back and exchange the car before they closed at 2pm. When we came back there was still no sedan available and we returned the car and went to another car rental company. We had the Tahoe for less than 2 hours and were charged $78!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Don’t go here.

We had a great experience here. Omar assisted us and was very competent and professional. He recommended a very comfortable mini SUV for us that was great on gas. We were renting to deal with an unfortunate emergency, and Omar was very empathetic and helpful.

Terrible customer service. Was charged tons of additional fees. Car had no gas, or washer fluid, and was dirty. Tried to resolve the charges in person and was told there was nothing they could do and I needed to call the 1-800 #. Will not rent here again. Just pay the extra money to get quality somewhere else, probably end up cheaper anyways.

Scam artists, they’ve now billed me over 6000.00$ after dispute they charged me more this company is a joke don’t put yourself through the hassle of dealing with them I would give them negative stars. Once I reached out to the company and showed proof of the original double billing the stopped responding to me these guys are a joke.

This is one of the worst Avis locations that I have been to. The customer service is below average and they create their own pricing. To the point I've heard the manager" from Niagara Falls location tell the st. Catharines rep "Just charge her $250" when I asked since when these charged applied he responded "since today". This was on speaker phone. They are scam artists and apparently are brothers that run both locations.. I have had issues with them for years."

I booked twice with them. The first experience was excellent. The second one, the car was all dirty because they said their washing Karcher broke. I had to travel 1200km with a dirty car... but the service is kind, and once I arrived late, AVIS charged me an extra hour but the manager kindly waived the fee for me.
