Would not recommend!Took a pair of brand new lululemons with a slight tear to this shop. Was told it would cost $10, was charged $21. The stitch work was horrendous. Maryam told me the work would look better in the dark and blamed me when I wasn't pleased with the sewing quality. Posted an honest review and then received multiple messages from the owner pressuring me in hopes of having the review removed. Literally had to block their number. Too much drama! Will let the photo speak for itself. Go somewhere else!

Maryam is so kind and hardworking. She always does a wonderful job, I've taken in jeans, coats, bridesmaids dresses, and her work always come out looking perfect. She always makes sure I am happy before I leave...and I appreciate her being so accommodating even when she is busy. I highly recommend her for any alterations!

Maryam is incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. We started using Express on the recommendation of friends and have not been disappointed. Even during a very busy season she was able to get our garment altered within our time frame. Highly recommended!

Maryam is so kind and great at what she does. I have had many clothes altered and they are always perfect. Although she is incredibly busy, she rushed a dress I needed for a wedding the other week. Highly recommend express alterations!

Lovely nice lady. I was desperately looking for zipper slider to replace one on my shoe and she gave me 3 for free. I am sure she is very responsible and friendly when it comes to her job. Thank you again:)

Maryam altered my wedding dress and it was absolutely perfect. Since then she’s done several dresses for me and replaced a double-sided zipper on a reversible down jacket. All of her work is impeccable. She’s also very pleasant, professional, and communicative. She is really excellent.

She said she could hem my super-wide, long, flowy skirt-like pants, no problem, but she made the hemming so wide that it completely ruined the look of them. It stops the flowiness and now they look clunky and cheap. If I knew she wasn’t going to do an original hem, I could’ve done the same job with the sewing skills I learned in grade 8! If I had more time in N Van and hadn’t moved overseas I would’ve gone back and asked her to re-do them. And to top it off, she charged me double ($40) for her work. Unhappy customer. She can hem jeans well, but I wouldn’t trust with anything delicate.She was nice and friendly though.

I had a mixed experience here - the owner is very friendly and did a good job with altering my pants and giving a sweater a quick seam fix, but she needed to alter my dress twice because it didn't fit the first time and charged me for both alterations. My $40 dress ended up costing $80 of alterations in the end... I think if it doesn't fit the first time, the second alteration should be free.

Myryam has been tailoring my clothes for ten plus years. Always great quality and she’s always friendly and accommodating. She has fixed fancy gala dresses for me to jean shorts. She’s absolutely wonderful!

The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I've used her shop several times in the past including alterations to my dress uniform. Excellent service in every respect, quick turn around and reasonable prices
