This Dr. Clark is NOT a dentist as the other review claims. He's an orthopedic surgeon and does a lot in sport medicine. I had torn cartilage in my knee and he debrided my cartilage during a chondroplasty of my left knee. He was great, the follow up care he gave me was also very well done.About a year after this I injured my right foot and 2 of the small bones bumped each other and the healing callous filled the small space between them and a bone spur occurred. He removed it and I was very pleased. I was walking the next day.Dr. Clark's receptionist can be very curt and rude over the phone. She treats people on the phone and in person as though whatever you want is taking precious time away from her and you're annoying her. She has actually lied to me 3 times about stitches I had in my foot when I called to ask about whether the stitches were dissolvable or did I need them taken out. There was a cancellation when I called to see where I was on the wait list on a Monday. She said if you can get your preop stuff done Tuesday you can have the open spot Wednesday. It was short notice but I got it done. After the surgery the nurse had no discharge wound care orders and Dr. Clark was gone so she said just call his office. Long story short, during my 6 week postop check they had to take the stitches out that had healed into my scar.I've sat in the waiting room and heard her demean people on the phone. She is courteous to some people. She's in a position that needs a nice personality because some people have serious surgeries and worries. If she wasn't going to actually ask him if I had stitches that needed to be taken out she should have said so. I would have went to my family doctor;but, she lied and said she talked to him and blue stitches dissolve. Well black dissolve and blue is like fishing line. Three times I called and each time she got shorter and more curt to the point of getting perturbed that I didn't believe her and I was still bugging her.

I seen Dr Clark for problems I was having with my teeth , he wasted no time in helping right away. He is the real deal for dentists in thunder bay. I highly recommend him . If your looking for a dentist, go see him , you won't be sorry you did.I am so happy with my experience.

I would NOT recommend Dr Clark. After telling me I need a knee operation to repair it he said he would NOT do it because I would not be able to return to my job????? My does he care? It’s called duty to accommodate and that is the law in Ontario
