Ryerson Recreation Centre
It's an older facility but very well maintained, the pool is smaller/shallower than most. The change rooms are large with plenty of showers and washrooms, there are only male and female change rooms at this facility. The staff are really friendly and helpful, overall it's a very good facility.

Everything fine but the latest changes in the schedule are hard to understand. During the summer and fall 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm was fine. Now 8:30 pm is too late for me. Sorry but I hope next schedule will be a bit earlier. Thanks

Love this place. The staff are so nice and helpful. Like family! Lauren and Daniel run a great centre. All the lifeguards love me and I, them! Great atmosphere and truly inclusive!

Ryerson Recreation Centre
Went for a Parent and Tot swim and it was very enjoyable. I found the pool a little cold (my son was shivering) but it was clean and there were toys for the kids so it took his mind off it. I do wish they had a mini slide for the kiddos. The staff was very nice as well, the life guards were trying to encourage my son to get in the pool when he was hesitant. The changing room was nice and spacious as well.

Pool is clean! Swimming teachers are fantastic. Only a few benches for parents to sit, not much space for all parents.Unfortunately, there are NO universal change rooms, NO changerooms in men's locker room. My husband refused to bring our 8 & 4 yr old into men's room. This area needs an overhaul to be family friendly.

Wonderful first time experience at the Ryerson centre..booked indoor swim for the first time here in Hamilton and it was worth experiencing. nice and supportive staff, all inclusive basic facilities and a classic pool for all. spent a lovely hour there. all basic necessities were fulfilled in nominal charge. safety precautions are up to the mark for adults as well as children. well maintained pool, although a bit smaller for a regular swimmer but acceptable. front desk guy is cool and super supportive, same as the pool guards.looking forward to visit again soon.

Very pleasant experience. We (me and my wife) started to go to this place last month. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the pull is clean and well maintained. People are polite and the schedule is right. We decided to get an membership and I recommend this place for anyone. Satisfaction overall.
