Black Belt Jung's TAEKWONDO Mahogany Calgary

We absolutely love Master Jung's Taewkondo classes and highly recommend them to everyone we know and talk to! We originally signed up our 5 year old son but loved it so much, we enrolled our 9 year old daughter a few months later. They absolutely thrive in class and we've noticed a huge improvement in their confidence and ability to control their emotions. They look forward to belt testing and work hard to earn their belt and food attitude stripes!On top of the kids loving the class, my husband and myself equally love watching. I find myself watching with a big smile the entire time, the masters are incredible with the kids and make the classes fun and engaging.10/10 highly recommend for all kids!

My son started out scared, crying, not wanting to participate, not wanting to go and wanting to quit. As a mother I was torn between seeing him struggle and wanting him to learn how fear and anxiety when starting new things does not last. After going two days a week for just a month he has 180'd. Now, he is excited for Taekwondo, practicing the moves at home, running around and participating in class, smiling throughout the class, and just beginning to gain his voice. He is very proud and I am even more proud of him! I am quite certain that his success is related to the 3 Masters running each class and creating an environment in which there is space and opportunity to cater to the different, and evolving, needs of each child while handling the whole class. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to join as well. So much fun!

Really wonderful instructors! My daughter has built her confidence, discipline and fitness thanks to Master Jung and the other instructors. She particularly loves Master Mark, but they all show genuine care for the kids while challenging them to raise their personal bars.

I really can not say enough about the amazing experience that we have had here. The masters teach with such passion, enthusiasm and knowledge each and every class. I have a child in the beginner class and one in the teenage class - they are learning the skills and techniques of taekwondo along with self confidence, perseverance and respect. The mental and physical change/growth that has occurred over the last few months is truly incredible. When each of my kids walk through the doors they know that they are not just part of an inspiring team but a family!

I have been attending this school for almost 3 years. I started as a shy student to becoming apart of the leadership team and being as energetic as I can be. The Masters helped me boost my social skills and self-confidence. They are the best of the best. They keep a happy, friendly, and up going environment. We all treat each other like family here. I always look forward to attending classes each week and even during my volunteer sessions which motivates me to become a good leader.

Highly recommend.I've never seen my son concentrate like this. And also he loves his instructors! Within a few weeks of starting, this Taekwondo school improved concentration as well as physical strength. I'm looking forward to what kind of effect it will have!!!!!

This is such a wonderful place. The instructors are firm, kind and respectful. They teach good values for the children that go beyond the studio. I signed my son up recently and this is the one activity he is EXCITED to go to. So excited that he sold his Meta Quest VR set so he could buy a punching bag to practice! I’ve never seen him like any activity I’ve signed him up for so much thank you wonderful instructors and assistants especially Master Fernando and Master Kim.
