On the Road House Call Veterinary Services

On Dec 27,2021, after a traumatic emergency vca experience the two blessings were Dr. Paty. and the intake technician who gave me her contact. To be fair, I believe most Veterinarians are exceptional and go above and beyond care, only this one critical time VCA traumatized my boy and despite the warnings and conversations we had with the emergency Vet I still let the last days we had together be spent in panic mode in an emergency vet office where he was alone, in a noisy, bright and cold kennel covered in alcohol that wasn't wiped off properly . I know letting go is hard, impossible. Really i couldn't let go, but my cat was critically ill, and their advice could have been better thought out and more realistic i.e..he was not going to be able to take swallow tablespoon sized pills, when he couldn't even breathe properly. Sometimes it's a vet duty to say when it's time. Honestly, it takes people who are overly emotional longer to come to terms with reality. Our regular Vet said it was time, we both cried but i couldn't let go. On top of that covid was still scaring people and all the hospitals were overwhelmed . What shouldn't have happened, happened. When i picked up my cat from emergency he was in worse shape due to the stress.i called the hospital back 3 hours after i picked him up crying and telling them he was worse . The intake technician gave me Dr. Paty's number and at 1230 am. She came to my home to see my old boy. if i remember correctly, one memorable thing amongst a few were that she explained how amazing cats physiology is, that vets still don't know everything about how their bodies work and that cats have an incredible way of handling pain and self healing i think she said something like that. It was me, instead of accepting his time was done on earth, i kept trying to keep him alive. Dr. Paty made an emergency house call and she helped us say goodbye in the most loving and peaceful way. We were all broken hearted. Making your pet comfortable is so important. Thank you Dr .Paty I'm so grateful for your kindness and compassion you showed us. For staying up for 3hrs in the am to send my sweet best tabby friend to heaven.

Update 2023:We had to contact Dr. Paty to euthanize our other dog Annie, one year after losing our first, Arthur. Dr. Paty was as amazing as I remembered her to be. She took her time and did not rush us. Because of Dr. Paty, we were able to give our dog the dignified and loving passing that she deserved. Dr. Paty is an incredibly gifted vet, and an angel on earth for us.Dr. Paty, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the important work that you do, and treating us so compassionately.2022:We called Dr. Patricia very early in the morning for an emergency euthanasia. Our dog's health had been diminishing over the week but quickly took a turn for the worse during the night. She came quickly and made our dog Arthur comfortable before administering euthanasia drugs. She was so kind and empathetic and made us feel much better about this difficult process. She explained everything in detail and took our dog's health and difficulty breathing into account for administrating the drugs. At the end she wrapped Arthur up in a beautiful blanket to take him away to the crematorium. Thank you so much Dr. Patricia for giving our dog a most gentle passing. ❤

Dr. Paty is a fantastic veterinarian. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of animals. We were very impressed with her extensive knowledge of pain management. When the time came to say goodbye to our best friend, Dr Paty was available on very short notice. She made our girl Abby's last moments as peaceful and beautiful as possible. Meeting Dr. Paty during this difficult time was a gift for which we will forever be thankful.

Dr. Paty is a gem of a human being. A few months ago I needed to put my dog Bella down, she was the love of my life but it was time. Bella was suffering from cancer and we ran out of options. Dr. Paty was so caring and patient, she made me feel very comfortable, and was so kind. Bella's last day with us was incredibly hard but Dr. Paty helped us get through it. What she does cannot be easy but her compassion is evident. I appreciate her so much.Thank you for everything you do to help people and their pets, wishing you all the best Paty.

I can’t thank Dr.Paty enough. We had an emergency euthanasia on our 10 year old Doberman last night. She made the experience as amazing and comfortable it could be, given the circumstances. She gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes with no rush. She was able to make some humorous jokes to keep the mood positive. She made sure our dog was comfortable the whole time and walked us through everything step by step and explained everything in detail. Thank you for letting our baby cross over the rainbow bridge in the comfort of our home.

We used these services for end of life for our sweet chihuahua. Dr Patricia was an absolute blessing. She was very clear in explaining everything ahead of time, and through the process.She understands and give the proper amount of time. I truly don’t think I we could have done this without her. Professional, but exceptionally compassionate.Every single praise you receive is earned. You are blessing to us all

Dr , Paty is a very professional and a compassionate person . She took wonderful care of our love Ginger . I can’t say enough about her but if you love your family member and have to say goodbye you should trust Dr Paty to help . Thank you very much Dr Paty. !

Honestly if I could give zero stars, I would. What a horrendous experience.I contacted Dr. Paty to schedule a euthanasia for my dog, a decision that isn’t easy for anyone, as we’re all aware. He was quite old and was certainly in pain and it seemed like he was getting better but took a turn for the worst. As a result, we had cancelled but then re-booked the euthanasia. She was meant to come the next morning but when my dog passed in his sleep and I contacted her asking what the next course of action was, I was met with judgement and an insinuation that we hadn’t acted fast enough and downright said that we were perpetrators of animal cruelty because we hadn’t gotten a vet’s opinion on his condition — a gross, unfounded, and incorrect statement.She didn’t even offer condolences, something that a veterinarian who specializes in this difficult area should AT MINIMUM do. She was fine to deal with on the phone at first but when she no longer had anything to gain from us, her behaviour was shocking and heartless. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone for any service, let alone something as traumatizing as making the decision to say goodbye to a cherished member of the family. There are many other vets who can facilitate the passing of a pet that wouldn't dream of reacting the way that she did to a cancelation due to a natural death. Again, 1 star is generous.

Dr Patty is an absolute angel. She supported my family with the unexpected passing of our family dog, Penny. Our girl passed at home in our arms - and with so much love and dignity. Dr Patricia made time for our emergency call and was so caring and understanding to our situation. She’s a vet with a passion for what she does and it really shows! Thank you so much for your amazing support - means the world to us pet owners!

Dr. Patricia was amazing. We called her at 11pm as we knew it was time for our sick elderly dog Bane. She came within 30 minutes. She made sure he was comfortable, gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes and made the whole situation incredibly peaceful. Thank you for doing what you do.
