My daughter is excited to go to school everyday since day 1! All equipment and materials are brand new, classroom is huge with big windows, the teachers are super nice, knowledgeable and communicative. I love that they use an app so I can see my daughter's progress everyday, it helps me to plan activities outside of school as well. It's delightful to see her thriving in a Montessori setting, great school!

My son has been enrolled in Pre casa since late Feb 2022 and has enjoyed going to school since. IMS has excellent staff, large facility, onsite-cooked meals, wide variety of extracurriculars, and offers both Cantonese and Mandarin teaching during summer camps and Chinese school (which my friend’s kid is part of). It’s really hard to find a school anywhere in GTA that offers Cantonese these days and I’m glad that option is available to us here. We also observed how much my child has learned - not just academics but also life skills. Ms. Katie has been fantasic; all the children and the kids love her - she’s very warm and caring. The location is also convenient - it’s in a plaza with parking, restaurants and grocery stores so you can buy groceries or take your kids to eat before and after pick up. We live in the area and can pretty much walk there. We’re super grateful for IMS.

A long overdue review, but just wanted to express how happy we are to have enrolled our little one in the Pre-Casa program at IMS :)• First off, the teachers are all amazing and our daughter is always excited to see them, and not just her main classroom teachers but all of the staff who she has warmed up to greatly. Whether it's during playtime/extended care in the gym or even as she's passing by the other classrooms to her homeroom, all of the teachers are so friendly and equally as excited to greet her everyday.• We are impressed with the supervisor, Ms Ahnsun (Ashley) and all of the school's protocols. The staff has been open to communication and answering any of our questions or concerns, and it's also been helpful being updated with daily summaries of our daughter's activities and schedules via their online web app. An example was when our daughter was first transitioning to the classroom environment and just having a quick convo about what we can do to be consistent at home to build familiarity in her routine was very helpful at the beginning.• The school has an in-house kitchen where meals are made on-site. We like the wide variety of meals throughout the week and there is range to the cuisine (i.e. some lunches are asian-inspired like beef bolognese or stir fried chicken, etc). Overall, our child always seems to be content-fully well-fed, haha.• And most importantly, we obviously wanted her enrolled into this school because of the Montessori teachings, which as mentioned prior, the photos and updates on the web app keeps us informed about the activities she is learning and the assessment of her progress (introduced, practiced or mastered). Since starting the program, we have observed her becoming more independent as she applies her learnings from the practical life curriculum back at home. As for her verbal development, she was a Covid baby, so to see her social and language skills improving greatly since attending IMS was also very exciting for us :)Overall, the teachers are amazing and patient, and we know our daughter is always in good hands!

Great facility! This school has an indoor gym, finally my kid is not stuck in the classroom all the time during the cold winter. Teachers are fantastic and loving, always update us on my kid's learning progress through the school's apps. My kid loves the food cooked in-house, nice and warm food served everyday!

To be clear, my daughter does not attend this school (yet)! I recently moved to Richmond hill and am considering driving 24 minutes just so she can go!I'd say my daughter was mauve 2 or 3 months old when I scheduled a tour, the earliest they will take a child is 15 momths; despite this, they still welcomed me.The director greeted me, and upon entering I was told I could not go any further without covers for my shoes (huge points).Needless to say it was exceptionally clean. I was brought into the room and tphe director explained the principles of Montessori to me. Again, took the tome to explain this to a person who sge wouldn't be signing up for over another year. The menu and chef on-site were amazing. I love how the kids have their own garden too. Her vibe was so genuine. I so unimpressed by aby other Montessori or daycare I've toured

My Family is very lucky and happy to find out this school. The whole building is custom-built with big and bright classrooms, indoor activity area, piano room and in house kitchen. The overall environment / set up are very organised and tidy which makes us feel more confident to send my daughter during pandemic. Teachers are passionate, patient and experienced. They did a great job to comfort my daughter on her first week and helped her to get used to the new class. The online app to keep track of each kid's progress is another highlight. We feel great to know what she is learning in the class and see her joyful face on pictures. Also it helps us to plan activities and review materials during after school time.My daughter is happy to pack her school bag in the morning and tell us she is ready to go. ^^ We are happy to see she has a lot of fun and enjoy a meaningful time there.

Being a first time mom, I had a lot self doubt when sending my daughter to a daycare (Montessori) at a very young age, especially when grandma is staying at home and can take care of her. But my daughter needs the social interactions and other learning activities that grandma won’t be able to help with, so we decided to send her to IMS part-time.The school facility is new, bright and clean. They have good sanitation procedures to reduce the spread of germs: all students wash their hands first thing before coming to class, bringing your own water bottles everyday and take it home to wash daily, sending bed sheet and blanket home weekly to wash, etc.My daughter loves all the activities they have in class. She learned how to scoop and transfer, using spoon, rolling mat, singing, dancing, cleaning up and putting trash to trash bin, etc. She picked up new words from class and showed interest and curiosity in more areas. My daughter has always been an independent baby and likes to do stuffs by herself at home, but the teachers really have the method to teach her how to do it appropriately for her age. This is very important because they can do it themselves only when they know how to do it. She also loves the crafts that they do in class and bring home, and mimics what they did in class everyday. The arts and crafts also look very good quality and made by decent materials compare to a regular daycare. My daughter likes to go to IMS. She is a part-timer and by 2nd month, she walked into class by herself at drop off no tear, and was always happy at pick up (just a bit emotional when seeing mom/dad), which reaaally helped with mom guilt. We can see the children there likes their teachers and school’s staffs and they’re happy. I didn’t see much tear or hear much crying in this school.Communication is also good. Like others said, pictures and daily tracking are sent through the app and quite timely. It’s nice to know how the day going for your kids when you’re not with them. The school has a lot of extra activities: dentist visit (my daughter is more interested of brushing teeth when I reminded her about this day), photo days, Christmas concert which was a very special, memorable and well-organized event, Halloween parade, etc. They were well organized and the kids really had fun.Special thanks to the teachers, Ms. Katie, Ms. Lancy and Ms. Lina. They are very kind, truly caring and experienced teachers. They were able to put my daughter to nap pretty well since day one and she never showed a sign of crankiness due to missed nap. They know how to give her time to get to know them and her little friends, and she trusts them and goes to school happily. On Halloween parade, we didn’t see the email until last minute so we didn’t really prepare a costume, but teachers made sure my daughter wasn’t missed out and put on a nice costume for her :) My daughter also has eczema prone skin, but always been applied moisturizer well and didn’t have any flare up since going to daycare. We do see a lot of small details that show care and love everyday, and we appreciate the teachers for taking very good care of our daughter.I had recommended this Montessori school to all the mom friends that were looking for a daycare and totally recommend to sign up if they have a spot open
