I ordered from their pre-sized" blocks to use in a sit stand desk. Got many quotes and even their custom option prices couldn't be beat. I ultimately decided to go with "pre-sized" which is truly incredible value if you're willing to get your hands dirty. The one week lead time was also a bonus. I only spent two hours in total to sand/seal with the no VOC product they recommended on their site. Great quality and the sealed walnut turned out beautifully. You can tell the quality and attention to detail from the fact that they didn't include any sapwood to keep the colour consistent."

In 2019 we had reno work done which included removing the 100+ year old beams from our basement. We had Knotty's cut the beams up to make us a kitchen table, desktop and some shelves. George left just the right amount of the old beam surface intact for a good rustic feel and look, but without the slivers! We love them. George does beautiful work.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Wish I could give them 10 out of 5. They are the absolute best. They made a super nice white oak coffee table for us so ridiculously quick that I'm not even going to mention! I didn't know that's humanly possible. Also, prices are more than fair and they have the best selection. I went to every wood work place from Etobicoke to Burlington. You really can't find a better deal or a better selection or a better customer service. They go above and beyond to deliver you what you exactly want. My wife and I were both shocked. The table is stunning and with exact dimensions and design we wanted with the nicest finish possible. We had guests over and everybody loved it. Such a clean workshop too.

If you need butcher block, look no further. These folks cut an absolutely gorgeous piece of maple block for my tiny island. There was a minor logistical issue with shipping but they quickly solved it. I was initially thinking of ordering from a big box store but so very glad I didn’t. Wonderful, local craftsmanship and I have a feeling this block will last for years to come.

We just received our island counter top from Knotty's and absolutely love it. We really weren't sure what we were going to get (we live in BC and had to place an online order for something we could not see live beforehand). Our relief followed by complete amazement (you really exceeded our expectations) has still not worn off. We love, love, love this countertop and cannot recommend Knotty's enough.

Purchased my custom made table top here for my standing desk and the quality was incredible and the price was worth it! Thanks to the owners for all your help!I purchased my standing legs separate from the table but these guys are definitely my top recommendation for solid wood products for your office of kitchen or house!

Not only are the pieces beautiful and the quality superb, but the team at Knotty’s was very helpful and patient with me as I asked a ton of questions about care and restoration after some accidental damage was done when the pieces were brought home.
