Stay Away from any thing to do with Universal Reality LTD. They are never in the office, all calls are sent to a 2rd party answering service. They are supposedly open only 4 days a week, yet no one is ever in the office to take calls. They are rude on the phone & very unprofessional. The so called maintenance guy Burnell is always rude & tries to blame everything on you. Than they make you do all the work setting up bug traps & than tell you that if you want to reschedule an apartment inspection than they will charge you $40.00 to reschedule or charge you $40.00 if the bug traps are not set up. Than when Burnell does have to do something he takes forever to show up to fix the problem. The only thing they are on time for is when the rent is due & they pull the money out of your account.

I’ve been renting a condo managed by Universal Realty for close to one year now and have nothing but complaints about the management. From the extremely rude and condescending customer service to the lack of promptness and communication regarding issues being addressed, it’s extremely evident that Universal does not care about their tenants. I will never rent from Universal again and highly recommend that you look elsewhere. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I live in a old apartment building managed by URL got my rent increased from 850$ to 1000$ asked them to decrease the rent instead of explaining it in a good way the lady at front desk told me to look for something else if i don't want to pay 1000$!!! How rude or unprofessional is this??? U know what i'm gonna look for something else! Since URL doesn't care about loyal tenant.i've been in here for 3 years now.i would give zero star if i could!!!!And how about the front desk lady that stated if i don't like the rent rise i should move out? Does she have the right to say that?

I’ve been renting a condo managed by Universal Realty for close to one year now and they do little to nothing here. Several suites had a major water leak due to improper drainage on the roof. Never saw them around. Lightbulbs were burned out when I moved in 9 months ago and they just got replaced. This past weekend marked the 6th snow event of the winter and our parking lot hasn’t been cleaned once. Tenants are left to dig themselves out. Most useless property management company ever. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

I had rented the apartment for my daughter going to University it was really good. The apartment was always well maintained and no issues with the landlord will be back if there's one available in the fall.

Nothing but good things to be said about this business. We rented a beautiful downtown loft through URL. From day one our questions and concerns were met with prompt follow-up and professionalism. Our unit manager Burnell rocks! Thanks for everything! Highly recommend URL for any of your property needs.

I had rented an apartment condo through Universal Realty for close to 5 years. I found from the very beginning that Universal Realty is a professionally run company with an experienced and friendly staff. I experienced no problems with them during my entire time dealing with them. If I had any concerns I brought it to their attention and it was dealt with in an efficient manner. I recommend Universal Realty to anyone looking to rent or purchase.

Applied to rent an apartment on June 3rd for July 1st. It is June 14 now and haven't heard back from them. Called them couple of times to know the status of my application. They keep saying it is under review and they have not heard back from my current landlord. However, I have talked with my current landlord and he told me that he did not get any call or voice mail from them. I tried again calling URL office asking if email from my current landlord will work. Upon their consent I requested my current landlord to send an email from his institutional email address. My current landlord sent the email and send me the screenshot. Called URL next day to confirm if they got the email. Do not know why but they said they did not receive email and the manager was not in the office. I have called them couple of time to talk to the manager to find a way out however, the he/she was never there at that moment. I am very disappointed with their service. All I wanted to know is a yes or no of my application. Until today they did not let me know anything. The reason I am frustrated is because I needed to book my wife's air ticket as soon as I find an apartment. I told them my scenario once already. But it did not work. Finally, I withdrew my application. Hope they will improve their service.

I have rented with universal realty for over 10 years , the service and the staff are amazing very friendly, when ever there was an issue they came right away to fix it .If anyone who is honest and respectful are looking for a place to rent or buy I highly recommend universal realty because they are honest and respectful.

Worst company ever! When ever my friend called there she always got an automated response or someone who worked for an messenger service. Than when they transferred her to the maintenance guy Burnell, he was always rude & unprofessional. When ever she had a problem with another tenant they always gave her heck for calling them & would always tell her to call police. They would always say that problems in the building were a police problem & that they didn't involve the building management. After 3 months I ended up helping my friend move out. STAY AWAY for any Universal Realty LTD rental properties!!!
