My first time to a $1.49 Tuesday at Save-On-Foods! I was stoked--I have never seen so many people excited for grapes. The hype was worth the trip- my haul consisted of grapes (of course), pork tenderloin, cucumbers, pizzas, and butter (by which I redeemed all with points). Spent about $20 for a big bag of groceries! I will be back for sure again next month for the next $1.49 Tuesday.

Be careful when returning items here.6/29 I visited customer support desk and returned an item but a staff named Brenda D wrongly charged me again.Brenda drew a line of the return item on the receipt but kept the original receipt along with the returned product and passed me repurchase receipt only.Brenda did not ask me to write my contact info or signature so I felt odd, but I had to answer an important phone call at that time and could not pay attention much.Today, I found the receipt and noticed her mistake and contacted customer support, and the manager Byran said he would refund me.I went to the store but Bryan was not there at that time. I showed the double charged receipt and my credit card billing history to the staff, Cathy and asked her for a refund, but a she did’t try to refund me, and a staff named Donna said, How do we know that the item was returned?".Instead of suspecting a customer as a lier

The only reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because of one particular employee that was very nice to me at the register. He was a fairly short and skinny gentleman, I believe his name was Matthew. He had a nice smile on his face and we had a short conversation about manga and anime, it was nice to be treated like a friend instead of a customer. I've never had a better experience from a cashier until now. I hope the owner recognizes Matthew's professional and hard work.

I had to explain what had happened to me. It would have been nice if the manager had left a message or something. That was a bummer. I was very embarrassed being there again. Anyways, yeah, your staff did her job.Update- I got a call from Save-on-foods; they said they would give my money back and apologized for the mistake. This store is one I go to almost every weekend... so I decided to update the review since I don't want to ruin anyone and their business. Still, 4 stars, but I'd leave one star for my next visit. but thank you for taking care of this.the cashier forgot to put my item in the bag- a cream cheese. Only I realized this when I got back home. I have no time to come back there and argue about it. so disappointed and tired to do it. also she forgot to give my soda stream deposit back so I had to talked to another receptionist.. hah…

My go to place for grocery shopping.Appreciate that they have Asian bakery items and meats.Staff are nice. There was a very rude girl at the deli section but when I complained about her, they told me she was leaving cause other people complained too which is great.

I’ve been living in the Brentwood neighborhood and shopping at this Save-On location since 2015 as it’s the closest grocery store to my house. This store always seemed decent to me until I started to realize that neither the management nor employees do care about its condition or respect its customers. I will let the pictures speak (leaving only a few of them). The retail store equipment is dirty and not maintained properly which may lead to its malfunction really soon. I would like the management to understand that the cost to replace the equipment is high not to mention that the store is government owned. We live in a very beautiful neighborhood, let’s maintain its beauty and care about each other, at least by supporting sanitary condition of the food we consume.

I’m giving this Save on foods five out of five stars, because I recently had an encounter with one of their cashiers a rather short man named Matthew very nice fellow, while I was buying a resupply of mayonnaise for a barbecue, I was having. We had a short yet nice conversation with each other. I noted that he had dark eye bags and look kind of tired. He insisted he was fine, and we had a short conversation about his interests and my interests the interests, we share together is our mutual love of the video game genshin impact, cosplaying as female anime characters and going to conventions. If you have this man as your cashier try sparking a nice conversation with him. He’s a very nice fellow

Poorest customer service and quality of service ever. Don’t buy helium balloons from them. It took twenty minutes to fill two balloons and then one was not tied properly and came untied and floated away. The one that didn’t float away was poorly presented. Not worth your time or money. Generally this location is terrible. Don’t forget to check your bill because I have often found they double charge for items and have reported it to management on several occasions. You’re better going to Whole Foods or Safeway or Superstore instead. They are not that far away.

Go to this store on a weekly basis - lovely cashiers but pompous and non attentive self check out staff. Recently I was there and after nobody attending to my “assistance needed” machine for several minutes the one boy I asked for help very sneakily replied he’s on break and walked off (name tag was Vincent I believe). Today at self check out a lady in a white sweater was dismissive and spoke in a rather rude tone. She seems rather proud of her role as she made sure to point out “I work here” yet it does not show in her customer service.
