Had my henna event at WhiteShield Banquet Hall and everything was perfect. The staff did an amazing job very organized thanks to Kasun for putting it all together and being very helpful. Will deff be hosting here again!

We recently had a 95th birthday party/family reunion at White Shield Banquet Hall. We reached out to them after our original venue cancelled. I literally just googled banquet halls and started calling people. White Shield had availability so I arranged to go and see it. I was met by the manager Ash. He understood our situation and the emergency nature of our having to plan so last minute. (10 days before the party!) He was amazing! He helped us put together a similar menu that we had wanted. But… he made several suggestions to elevate menu and add extra items. The hall was beautiful and set up very exactly as we wanted. The serving staff were very helpful, pleasant and worked hard. The food!!! Oh my, it exceeded our expectations in quantity, deliciousness and presentation. I can’t emphasize how surprising this was. It really was 5 star restaurant quality. Nothing like typical mass prepared banquet food. All Ash’s suggestion just elevated the meal even more. The other very surprising thing about this last minute accommodation of our party is that the price ended up saving us money!!! White Shield’s corkage fees were reasonable and food menu was a lot less per person than our cancelled venue. I should note that it was very helpful that they have an elevator- we had a lot of seniors attend. I can’t say enough about our experience. I can’t wait to have another event, so I can go back to White Shield Banquet Hall.

Had the pleasure of attending a year end holiday party at this hall recently and WOW! The food was amazing! Cheers to the chef! The hall was also very clean and felt cozy. Would love to come back for future events!

I will like to share the excellent experience I had with White Shield Banquet Hall on Feb 18th 2023. I attended a wedding there in November 2022 and was very impressed by the food, decor and service we received, so naturally as I was looking to hosted a small event, White Shield Banquet was the first hall I contacted. The Staff were extremely accommodating, professional and one of the best services I have received from a banquet hall. Ash, the General Manager and the Staff, specifically Alvin, went above and beyond to make our event a success. Also, high complements to the Chef as the food was AMAZING!! If you are looking for a banquet hall in the Scarborough area, I will highly recommend White Shield Banquet Hall as your choice for banquet halls. I celebrated my 60th birthday at the WhiteShield Banquet Hall and everything EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. The tandem of Grace and Arvin was outstanding! They were very efficient and quick to respond to my inquiries. I felt that the philosophy of the management of this facility is to “please its clients” because that was what I felt from the day I inquired about their services up to the following day after my event. The venue was impressively beautiful, all food were delicious (based on feedback from my guests), the price is reasonable and the staff were outstanding. If you are planning any kind of event, I strongly recommend The WhiteShield Banquet Hall and you will never regret it.

We had an engagement party last Sunday. Every one of our guest love the hall, food and staffs. Very clean hall. The best place in Ontario for any events. The management is very cooperative n tries his best for you. We are glad we found this banquet hall. Love the location, staffs, food, environment. Loved it loved it. WhiteShield banquet hall— a hidden gem!!Hosted my sister’s Sweet 16 back in Feb. Ash & his colleagues are wonderful to work with; very attentive and thorough to my needs during the planning process & during the event. The hall is very clean and great for photos. The food was amazing, we chose the Italian buffet option. The photographer I hired said, this is probably the best banquet hall food in Scarborough.I would definitely recommend and use again for future events!

Ash and the White Shield Banquet Hall team were amazing! The food was phenomenal with Chef T’s expertise. They were accommodating to our needs and very friendly. We are so happy to have had our daughter’s Quinceañera there. Our daughter and all our guests had a blast. We have had other events here and all the new renovations have really made this banquet hall look beautiful and elegant! It’s in the heart of the city which makes it very accessible. Our guests are still talking about the banquet, the food and the great night they had! Thank you Ash and team!

Kasun was great! Very communicative, helped organize the day and gave great recommendations. This banquet hall is much more affordable than other banquet halls and is just as beautiful as other ones. Would recommend this hall to anyone looking to get marriedThank you!
