Amazing doctor and great service. Dr. Kim is very thorough and takes your concerns seriously. Took time to answer all my question and explain the results of the eye exam. The ladies at the front are also very professional and efficient.

For the first time in my long life in Canada, I had my eyes checked properly. Dr.Lucia Kim and staffs were so kind and did their best to examine me. I would like to recommend it to many people.

Dr Kim is the best optometrist I've dealt with. She is very thorough and never tries to push you to buy the glasses from her optical. Very professional and kind.

We are a family of four with 3 of us wearing glasses and we are all patients at this office . My husband had an emergency so we called the office and left a message informing them it was an emergency and he needed to come in straight away, he decided to show up instead , because no one had returned our call. Upon arriving he was turned away immediately because he didn’t have an appointment even after telling them his problem and that he called in. He found another doctor in Aurora which he explained his problem too and they took him immediately without an appointment, saying it was an emergency. In the end my husband had a small piece of metal stuck in his eye which they removed straight away. This doctor told him that if he had waited any longer it would of damaged his cornea. Seeing that the eye is the most important part of the human body and we thought that we can rely on our own optometrist to look after us and not expect to be treated poorly and with total disrespect.

Cancelled last minute. Had to take time off work to take this appointment but obviously they had to cancel. Extremely annoying.

The initial eye exam with Dr. Lucia Kim was great. However, I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service I experienced when purchasing a pair of sunglasses. It all started when I was given dilating drops as part of my eye exam. For those who don't know what these drops do - they inhibit near-sighted vision to a point where you cannot read. The problem was that I was given these drops and then told to choose a set of sunglass frames for purchase (when I could barely tell one sunglass from another). I chose a pair that I thought were familiar to me - the classic rayban wayfarers, but when I came back to the office a week later to pick it up, I realized that these frames were completely different with an unfamiliar grey color on them. Confused, I asked the associate to show me the same frames that I had tried on the week before and she told me that they were no longer on the display wall....odd. I asked where they were and she could not tell me. Had she simply given me the pair I tried on when I paid over $300 to purchase a new pair? I then asked for a refund because the frames were not what I was expecting at all and the associate told me that a refund would be difficult. When I requested a refund once again because the frames did not suit me at all, she changed her tune and said that Bayview Eye Care does not provide any refunds on frames or lenses. They were kind enough to acknowledge their mistake of letting me choose frames when I could not see and offered to exchange the color of the frame but it's been weeks now and I still do not have sunglasses because the frame color I reluctantly chose to replace what I original got is in backorder.Update: Dr. Kim was able to provide me with a refund as I had initially requested.

Dr. Lucia is a wonderful Optometrist. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. She has a vast amount of experience handling many patients from different ages and communities. She was the only Optometrist that caught an anomaly in my Dad's retina and referred him to a retinal specialist because she just wanted to confirm that it was just an anomaly and nothing more. Her level of expertise and care are bar none.

I was very impressed with overall services and facilities. The staffs were very attentive and kind to explain instructions in details. Dr. Lucia Kim was very thorough in explaining the status of my eyes by showing images of optic nerve, retina and visual field results. I was there yesterday for an eye exam and from the moment I walked in was greeted by the friendly, attentive staff. Dr. Lucia took the time to clearly communicate everything comprehensively and was very thorough through the whole process.Dr. Lucia truly cares about her patients and makes you feel comfortable. She had provided some preventative measures specific to my eye health and took the time to answer all my questions going above and beyond. Never once did I feel rushed.I am so happy to have returned to her and will travel the distance to see her again for my next appointment!
