Have bought Kal tires for years. They have so many shops in Canada, providing tire free service when you need it. As for me...I had to buy a new one after a large nasty rock wrecked one of mine...oh well, at least they had what I needed in stock in the store far from home...we are travelling in the RV.

Kal tire continues to live up to its name!! My daughter came in assuming she needed tires on her vehicle. These great people assured her she would be fine for quite awhile longer. They fixed her tire and sent her on her way! I appreciate the great service once again. Well done!

Just had tires mounted balanced and sensor changed out …..great job and 100.00 dollars cheaper than Canadian tire quoted me …

I have used Pearson Tire for my tire needs since relocating to the West Coast of the Island 7 years ago. Twice now I have also arrived in Port Alberni with serious brake issues (two different vehicles) and both times, the staff at Pearson have been exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating with my unexpected chaos. The repairs have been well done in a timely manner and reasonably priced. Absolutely Gold Star service!

I had an issue with a tire right at closing time; however, that did not phase this fantastic group of people!! I was welcomed with kindness and compassion, I swear I had a pleasant conversation with every Tech & Rep as they were conducting their tasks but asked me how my day was.They were super busy, but that didn’t seem to be a factor whatsoever. My vehicle was brought into the shop, my issue was diagnosed immediately and I was on my way before I knew it.I would go as far to say as this Kal-Tire is hands down the best in Canada… that’s a bold statement and I truly mean it. Thank you to the entire Port Alberni KT Team

Edit: I have adjusted my review to reflect accordingly as a manager has reached out. I have changed my 1 star to a 3.My major issues are that they don't take appointments. You are expected to go in as you need it. Well you best go in right at opening because if you go in later than that chances are you will be refused service for the day as they are way too busy. This is frustrating as most of us have work/family schedules and getting your vehicle in without an appointment can prove a chore.This also leads to the next issue of them being so busy that it is hard to even find a spot to park your vehicle. There had been many times I drove by in hopes to get in but clearly they were so busy there was no place to park, so I left and tried on a different day.The final issue is sometimes the front desk staff are quite rude/unfriendly. They are like that on the phone and in person. This can definitely rub off the wrong way as the way they handle certain situations just makes things worse when you are denied service due to them being busy for the day.The manager on the other hand if you are lucky to deal with him - is absolutely fantastic.
