NEVER listen to the local guides" they never get ongoing home support! The company is awful!! I have been a client with this company for 6 years and the ONLY reason is because I don't pay for the service! Horrible lazy office staff and workers who want to do the minimalist job for $20 an hour! The stress is causes clients is so bad that someone had to go see their doctor due to ongoing stress. Some home workers had told me they have problems.Morale is very low in all aspects and this is also why there is a high turn over! They are also do so minimal work in how they can service someone where they do no do laundry

I spoke to a nurse named Lucinda L, I waited on hold for about an hour and when she became available, the conversation was not amicable. She disregarded my concerns and medical issues, and blatantly told that if I was sick I should not waste her time and speak to a doctor. Telling me if I did not have a fever it was not a serious issue. She did warn me she could only provide medical advice, and not provide prescriptions. However, she advised me on taking some ibuprofen even though that had nothing to do with my respiratory concerns. It was an unacceptable interaction especially since she is supposed to be supportive and helpful.I am disappointed in this call and that even though there was no care or support from Lucinda, the advice that she gave me was not consistent with my symptoms, ultimately rendered useless.

Never use this company. The standard of care is very poor! The company is to assist people who are sick and who need care and compassion; hire people according to the required task and health safety. Hire people who are RCA certified or some requirement. VCSS is suppose to aim for having integrity high work ethics to ensure the best client care. VCSS is very UNwell-organized and I can assure you this is one of the worst home care companies out there.Home workers have told me they have had numerous problems from staff to task information details to glitches of sending workers when they were not suppose to go to a home, etc. The supervisors keep sending workers that were asked NOT to be sent. Their is ongoing internal issues in the organization and more people need to speak out against this company. The worker Amy (older full built Filipino lady) is the worst worker and if you ask even one simple question, she emotionally flips and is defensive. She walks out the door I have to call the company and Jared (one of the supervisors) does nothing. I asked if he took note of this issue (and the problems) and he does not answer. I am the client who is sick, why am I having to struggle with such unwell trained people in the organization to understand that this type of care is not acceptable? The company offers no solutions or shows any concern. Jared (supervisor) will not answer any questions. He hangs up on the client. Amy and all workers get paid for the full job I was told by previous workers even though they do not do their job of $20 an hour. They dont return calls and they told me to call the office on weekdays. Why are patients/clients having to ask for help because help was not given? Nefarious company to say the least

Thank you very much for the compassionate and experienced home support workers who helped my dad during his cancer journey. They were also mindful of the mental health of other caregivers in the home. We especially appreciated the manager who assigned a Cantonese speaking support worker for us.

The care workers that attend your home are generally lovely people with a genuine interest to be of help. The management of this organization is poor, lacking in communication skill, and out of touch with what actually happens in the home once the schedule" leaves their "system". Expect to be frustrated

Never on time, not reliable, workers do not show up, high rotation of staff quitting, hard to get a hold of, communication is poor, training of staff is poor and management never returns phone calls.
