Old Shipyard Beach Campground
We stayed at Old Shipyard Beach Campground 1 - 4 August 2022. The view was stunning; watching the tide changes was amazing, and the sunrises were spectacular. The campground owners and staff were exceptional while we dealt with a truck breakdown. They showed compassion and generosity that was above and beyond anything we have experienced. We highly recommend this campground and would love to return.

Old Shipyard Beach Campground
I stayed in a gorgeous cottage. The cottage had a bedroom with a double bed, dresser drawers, a lovely view of the bay of Fundy. Sofa, breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen and television. The beach is 10 steps out the front door. Beach combing and fishing to my hearts content. I had a memorable and relaxing vacation. They have washers and dryers as well.

I LOVED IT here!!! Our cottage was well turned out and comfortable, well equipped in the kitchen and comfortable sleeping quarters that felt like a hug at the end of the day! And that view of the Bay of Fundy and its dramatic tides! And the gift shop behind the campground was great! They had some amazing stuff! Book it now!

Very nice campsite, right on the beach. Very clean sanitary facilities. I was very warmly welcomed by the owners.For me, a small piece of heaven, which I like to visit again.

Old Shipyard Beach Campground
Decent rates for RVs. Our sewer connection was higher than our pipe, but we dumped at the site next to us on our way out. They also have cabins.Amazing views of the tides. The road here was a little challenging in a 32 foot Class C. There are very few services on the way here. There is a town another 10 minutes down the road that has gas and food if you have a tow vehicle. Showers and washers/dryers available for a fee. Photos were taken 6 hours apart.

We have stayed here in cottages 2 summers in a row and loved every minute of it. Great place to stay if you love to ATV. Trails are nearby. Owners are amazing and the view! Oh wow, the view! Stay here, you will NOT be disappointed!

Very very good camping. Can't beat the view of the tides. Fishing and beach combing for treasures. Owners of the camp grounds are friendly and helpful.

Old Shipyard Beach Campground
There is not a bad site in this place! The view from our camper of the Bay Of Fundy and Spencer’s Island was to die for. The tides are showing their world famous 30 foot change before your eyes. I will always remember it with awe and fondness. Never in my 50+ years of camping have I had a better view out my camper window. The people are super friendly and Bob and Noreen are friends forever now. There is even a lighthouse that Bob lights and keeps open for viewing. I highly recommend this campground.

Old Shipyard Beach Campground
One of those rare gems where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature! The owners are incredibly kind and friendly. Bob not only helped us out with where to dig clams but also lent us shovels and buckets to do it. Everyone staying there was incredibly friendly and its one of those places where everyone knows your name. Very sad to leave but can't wait to come back !Mike and Lorrie Fraser

Old Shipyard Beach Campground
We only had one night at Old Shipyard campground, unfortunately. What a lovely place and wonderful management. Two of us travelling together and we had two sites right beside the lighthouse, which was great! Wonderful to sit and watch the sun go down and the tide come in and see a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The campground isn’t large and some folks bring ATVs to ride on the beach. There is a boat launch right beside the campground for anyone with a boat. The road is a bit bumpy after Parrsboro, but just take it slowly.
