What a cute little bakery! I've been meaning to come here for a couple of years now and finally stumbled across it while I was in town and it was open.Such a friendly shop keeper who greets you with a smile and let's you browse in comfort.There is a variety of tasty treats here -something for every taste bud! From traditional Icelandic Vínarterta to cupcakes, prepared soups, bagels, pies, hot chocolate bombs and more!Conveniently located across from Hidden Treasures along the main road, there's a parking lot adjacent as well as plenty street parking. You can also easily walk here too...from the beach!You'll want to be sure you stop here and treat yourself!Thank you Gimli and your beautiful locals!

Cutest bakery. Smells great going in. I love all of the options they have. Ended up spending $60 lol. Must take home treats to Alberta. Wasn’t a huge fan of the butter tart pastry however, was a bit crumbly and plain for me I think, no real flavour to the pastry in my opinion. My brother had no complaints. I think I’m just used to a richer pastry crust. Venatarta cookies are were lovely.

I used Sugar Me Cookie for my wedding. They were so easy to work with and very kind and helpful. Also, everything we ordered was delicious!! All my guests loved their baking! I ordered two different flavours of wedding cake and two different flavours of cookies. Their wheat free cupcakes were a HUGE hit for my gluten free guests too! Thank you so much ladies!! You really did a fantastic job!

Drove 2 1/2 hours for their Vinatarta. Just like Amma used to make . Also bought a carrot cake, delicious. Not a real fan of butter tarts but she mentioned she was the Butter Tart Lady. OMG she wasn't kidding. Best butter tart I have ever had!(salted caramel pecan). Keto chocolate caramel cheesecake will have me driving back to Gimli.

We go to Sugar Me Cookie when we want to treat ourselves to something extra special. Everything is fresh, delicious, and looks so pretty. My husband favours their Apple Turnovers. I love their cupcakes and Vinaterta Imperial Cookies. When we want a holiday gift, we send their Vinaterta. When we need a Dainty Tray, Sugar Me Cookie does them up beautifully. Upon presentation, there are always Ooo's" and "Ahh's".We can't resist going in!"

Stopped in over the weekend the grab some goodies. The intent was dessert for Saturday night. Bought 4 muffins, 6 raisin butter tarts and a peach crumble. The muffins and the tarts were very good, they were gone in the afternoon. Late at night we pulled out the peach crumble. To be honest, it's one of the worst baked goods I've ever bought. We don't think it was cooked. Very odd consistency, peaches didn't seem cooked. Dough was raw.
