The best place to get authentic Jamaican food in the GTA! Great vibes as soon as you walk into the restaurant and the customer service was A1. The food was 10/10, packed with flavour and generous portions. Would highly recommend!

What can I say. Wow wow and wow. The food here is sooo good. Been coming here for years . Can’t go wrong if you’re looking for some good Jamaican food or anything different than Pasta pizza and veal sandwiches in Woodbridge. Lol

Truly had an amazing time at this creole kitchen and barMelissa was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better person to talk to and take our order! It was a lovely chat with amazing service , the whole nineThe cook I didn’t not have a chance to meet but the food was phenomenal. I personally had the jerk chicken along with some rice and peas it was the best jerk I have had since I was 15 spice on point heat on point flavour out of this world and the chicken was not dry at allAs for the resultant it was amazingBy far the most eye catching restaurant we have had the chance to eat authentic Jamaican cuisine at … Beautiful restaurant with a large beautiful patio along with some amazing people to make your outing / experience a time to rememberThank you Cerole!!!!!

Made a reservation over the phone the day prior to dining in and it was fairly easy. Went in for 04:15pm and it was fairly quiet. Everyone was mostly in for takeout. Restaurant was all around tidy and clean, they also have an all gender bathroom so very inclusive and up to date. Also wheelchair accessible. The first server I had was very nice, despite her telling me she was done her shift in 30mins and to order with the other server, she also used a terrible perfume to mask her cigarette smell which was a tad bit nauseating. The lady who took our order was very helpful and patient with us, made ordering very easy. Wish I caught her name but unfortunately I didn’t.**THE FOOD came in 15mins or less! Everything was excellent ! The oxtail, curry goat, jerk chicken, fried chicken, wings were all flavourful and falling off the bone! Portions were also great! The festivals were golden brown and delicious. The rice and peas was kinda dry but you know I had the extra oxtail gravy! Unfortunately no dumplings at the time but we enjoyed our meal and I look forward to going back for their red peas soup!

TL:DR - ambiance and quality is not bad, but the portion size is too small relative for its price. Would not return again.I went at lunchtime around 1230. Restaurant ambiance is nice, but the 20 mins I was there waiting for my take out order, there was no other customers either dining in or take out. Already a big of a red flag.Anyway, I ordered 2 main entrees of jerk chicken, 1 main entree of oxtail, and a beef patty for our family of 3. For the jerk chicken entrees, I asked for the gravy to be on the side instead of on the chicken as I find some restaurant can put too much and make it too salty - I was charged additional $3. When I asked why there is up charge for the same gravy to be on the side, the server said it is because the chef puts “just a little bit on the chicken” and “you’ll be glad you ordered the extra gravy” - what? well, why charge more if you know there is not enough gravy??I’m terms of the quality, The Jamaican patty was very mediocre, can skip that. I will say that the jerk chicken and oxtail taste wise is good, spice is on point, however, the portion size for all 3 entrees are tiny for its price. We essentially paid $20 for a jerk chicken entree (including the up charge for moving gravy to the side) and there was 2 pieces of chicken… in comparison, we had the same portion at Roywoods a few days before and it was about half of that price and quality was comparable. the oxtail was $22 I think (maybe $24) and had 3-4 fairly small pieces of meat. We were still hungry after we ate, which never happens when we order jerk chicken elsewhere. I think the taste was good, but I was really not happy with the portion size and way to expensive.Would not recommend.

We stopped in here on a Sunday a week after opening day. The restaurant itself has nice decor, is clean and comfortable. Plus the staff were very friendly. The service was a little slow for us especially as we didn't order appetizers but it wasn't too bad.The food was tasty with good portions. We all had jerk chicken with rice and peas and oxtail gravy. The chicken portion was generous and the rice and peas was even more generous. The jerk chicken was tasty and not too spicy and it was cooked pretty well.We also tried the sweet potato pudding. This too was a generous portion and tasty. There was a hint of a spice that we couldn't place that was a little too much and slightly overpowering; we still enjoyed it however.I would recommend giving this place a try and I am sure some of the early kinks will be worked out soon. The menu has great variety and I am anxious to return and try some of the other offerings.

Came here for a birthday. We were the only customers because it was during the week but it still took a long time for food. She was very apologetic about the super long wait and offered us drinks which we appreciated. Very friendly but not accommodating for dietary restrictions. I tried to substitute rice for coleslaw or veggies or salad or anything, I’d even pay an up charge, but that wasn’t possible. I’d have to pay the full price of the meal and the full price of the side. Even though the price of a side of rice was similar to all other sides. I got the jerk chicken which wasn’t very authentic, but likely accommodating other palates. My cousin got the oxtail which I tried and was delicious. My aunt go the jerk pork and hers was good too. So maybe I just had bad luck with the jerk chicken

I'm used to getting Carribean food in the North West end of Toronto, but wanted to try here as a well reviewed place in Vaughan. The beef patty was ok. I also tried the jerk chicken with peas and rice, which was also served with coleslaw (tasty but a bit too creamy). While the portions are good for a single person's dinner, the jerk chicken lacked flavour compared to other places I've tried (that had much better value). The rice and peas also didn't have that many beans as I'd like. However, the staff was friendly and restaurant has a nice aesthetic with the interior decor and comfy seating - not something you typically get with most Carribean food spots! The place was also below room temperature so our food turned cold quickly. Try this resto out if you'd like a nice dining setting for Jamaican food and are ok with alright food. Otherwise tinier less aesthetic spots around Toronto have better value for taste and price! The staff also checks your vaccine passport (I'm finding some places skip this..) so have that ready if you're dining in! The menu is also accessible online via a QR code.

just gone there, service should have been zero star if possible, rude cashier and aggressive, waiting for over 30 min for food and once we asked very nicely, why you told 10 min. while we are waiting for over 30 min"

Purchased fried chicken and rice and peas lunch special.. the fried chicken was ok, I can't say anything about the taste of the rice and peas because it was soaking in gravy, i got heartburn just looking at it. For the price, there is no vegetable if you don't want cold slaw, which I did not want. Maybe I would have enjoyed the meal but the gravy killed it.Returned, this time I asked for gravy on the side. Changed the star to 5, the rice and peas is good so was the fried chicken. Yes, I will go back
