This is a bright, clean, and large hardware store with a good selection of items for home maintenance and repair.The staff are friendly, helpful, and willing to assist a person.There is ample aisle space which is helpful for social distancing and for those with mobility issues.

The service here was wonderful! Had to order and pick up a a large heavy item. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. From the cashier and the two people who loaded it into the car, thanks so much.

Buck's Home Building Centre
The 'other' building supply store in town did not have part of my order that I needed for my renovations, so, on the same day, I got part of my supplies at Buck's and part of it at the other place in town. Buck's delivered my order on Friday whereas the other place didn't deliver my stuff until Monday. I was very pleased Buck's had the rest of the stuff I needed, otherwise I would've had to order from Halifax.

Workers are great but they wont even let me grab a lawn chair that is right outside the door without asking for assistance? Ordered 2 kinds of lumber and they got both wrong. Don't come here if your in a rush.

Staff are not as knowledgeable as I thought they should be. So it took several staff to decide whether or not they had vinyl plug and light mounting blocksThey didn't have any, so they declared that such an item doesn't exist. Then I drove a little way down the road to the Castle store in Mahone Bay and bought them

Great store and fantastic employees, for the most part. I love shopping here. However, it's hard as finding hens teeth to get them to order in tools. Their Milwaukee guy seems very annoyed to have to field questions about the product he is tasked with representing. I've given up on trying to buy my Milwaukee tools here, and drive to the Home Depot in New Minas or Dartmouth Crossing to purchase them.
