Lisaard House

Lisaard House is such a precious establishment. The staff are incredibly caring, helpful and compassionate to not only their patients, but to the families as well. Being told your loved one is entering hospice can feel like the end of the world and the grief can be overwhelming. Lisaard House made the journey we had left with our father wonderful and allowed us to make many new memories with him to cherish forever now that he has passed. I could not recommend a better place for a person to spend their final days

I write here today to offer my many thanks to the incredible staff at Lisaard House for taking care of my loving wife of 38 Years. I wish our relationship could have been much longer but because of the condition of my wife's health, she only spent two full nights in Lisaard. Upon arriving there, I was greeted so nice and felt like this was my home too. The care was incredible and the staff could not have been more accommodating. You never had to wait long for anything. My wife was given the best care should could have got. The staff went above the call of their duties. It is a horrible thing to watch your love one slipping away from you. The pain has tore my heart right out. My life is forever changed. Things will never be the same without her. God has her now. He took her as he said he would and I look forward to the day when we will meet again and live forever in a new system created by God free of sin. For their shall be no more death. The former things have passed away.

Thanks to all the staff at Lissard House. They took care of my Grandmom so well until her last breath. We will be always thankful to all of you.

Such a special place. My grandmother spent her last days here. The staff were nothing but kind. Provided us with food so we could spend the last precious moments with her. Animals are allowed to visit, as they let us bring her dog to say goodbye. So great to know that she passed in such a loving facility with her family, rather than a hospital.

My mother has been treated well. There are numerous rules and the manager Kate is not as gracious as you may want in the end of someone’s time ..I highly recommend going somewhere else. Please note a hospice is supposed to be much like Home.The staff is lovely but under the iron fist of Kate.Avoid this place. My opinion, my experience and our family is very upset as we thought hospice were more progressive and understanding on how families celebrate life with what little time we have left.Go to another other hospice.

My Father was fortunate enough to be one of few people to pass his last days in Lisaard House. The caring staff and volunteers are truly amazing. The care there is second to none. They have six private rooms with everything you could ask for and more, It is very comfortable for the patient and their family and friends.Loosing a loved one is a very difficult time. The staff and facility made the best of a bad situation. We were very grateful to have had that experience.Julie

This hospice home is lovely inside and out. My family found the staff to be highly skilled in comfort care and very attentive.

In an extremely difficult time of loosing a loved one the professional and outstanding care combined with great compassion made all the difference for our family. Both staff and volunteers are truly wonderful in what they do. The location is beautiful with nice gardens. In time of need I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful facility at a terrible time, everyone was beyond helpful and caring, would give them more stars if I could. We lost dad there but only have great things to say about the staff and volunteers. Thank u all so very much

This is a wonderful place for all concerned. The staff are beyond caring to a point where you KNOW that they truly care for their charges and their kindness towards friends and family is, in my experience, unparalleled. Lissard is a place of dignity and quality.
