Rysco Gas Fitters

Needed our old gas dryer to be disconnected and the line capped, they came same day, friendly and went the extra mile.

I am not usually into writing reviews but I have to comment on very positive experience I have had with Rysco Gas Fitters. I was installing a tankless water heater doing most of the work myself and just needed gas professionals to handle the gas hook up. Wrote an email to Ryan describing details of the project. Ryan came back with a few detailed questions and a reasonable quote. We had another phone call where Ryan confirmed venting/location/clearances. We checked everything off. Scheduled the visit. Gas fitters showed up on time and did all the work diligently, fast, using exactly materials I was requesting. No gimmicks, no false promises, no up-selling, no hassle. Like in good old days - we spoke, agreed on terms, then Rysco came and delivered.

Had the company in to do a removal of our current gas cooktop and install a new one. They did a great job even though there with some issues with both the new and old cooktop. The old cooktop was almost cemented onto the countertop and the new one was missing parts. They sorted it all out for me and I couldn't be happier with their work.

This company is non-responsive to the two messages I have left over the course of a little over a week. I can understand that they may have enough work at the moment but Ryan could at least have the courtesy to return my request for a return phone call. It's just unprofessional in my opinion. I gave it a little over a week in case the reason for not getting back to me was vacation. I will move on to another company, there are plenty gas fitters in Halton that I am sure would be willing to take on a job that is non-urgent and can be fit in when convenient for them.

Reached out yesterday to Rysco Gas Fitters and within the hour Chris replied and after explaining what we needed done, we arranged for him to come out the next day to cap an old dryer gas supply line. He was on time, thorough and did exactly what needed to be done.

Update Oct. 8/2020I am updating this review to reflect the positive experience I received from Ryan (Rysco Gas Fitters) and Dave (Maple Mechanical). Ryan was extremely helpful on the phone when I called and requested a disconnect to an outdoor gas BBQ. He suggested and explained how I could disconnect the BBQ without having to pay for their service, which was extremely helpful, had I not needed a professional gas fitter to complete the job and cap the gas line for insurance purposes.Dave arrived at the appointment on time (with another worker) after having called first to indicate their impending arrival. Their work was extremely professional, they wore the required PPE and maintained social distance while answering my questions.A question I had following the service was addressed by Ryan in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.I would most definitely recommend Rysco Gas Fitters and Maple Mechanical to anyone requiring this type of service.

We had a Gas Ranger delivered and the company that sold it did not provide the gasfitter. Called Ryan late on a Friday. We booked a Monday appointment the Tech arrived was very professional and efficient. Ryan even called to update me on the Status of the tech arrival. Having experienced other companies booking a appointment and then wondering when they will arrive, this is a true sign of a company that understands what customer service means. I have them saved in my contacts list.
