A gem in the lost art of clock repairs. In this world of throwaway goods, it’s nice to be able to bring something in to have it fixed rather than discarded. Is he gruff? Maybe. Polite and courteous? Yes. I’ve brought two antique clocks there for repairs. It’s not cheap and there will always be surprises fixing something that’s broken but clock repair is becoming a lost art and thankfully this man is still doing it. Payment is cash or check which isn’t as inconvenient as having a clock that doesn’t work. I don’t know anyone else who knows or is willing to repair old mechanical clocks locally.

I have been bringing my watches and clocks to Claude’s for a lot of years now. I have never been disappointed. He knows what he is doing, and has always provided prompt and courteous service and at a very reasonable price. His location is not ideal, however I would never hesitate to bring my clocks and watches to him for repair.
