I’ve been at Jardin Nelson for a dinner on a Monday.I was impressed by the place, it’s very beautiful, we sat of the back patio!We ordered the seafood ceviche, the crepe Nelson and the green one! The food was ok, I’d say that the highlight is the atmosphere and the jazz band playing for the the background, not the food .I still recommend!

A deceivingly stunning restaurant. A gorgeous courtyard, filled with flowers and live jazz music. We had a refreshing watermelon sangria but didn’t eat. However, everything that went by looked delicious, especially the crepes.Recommend for the views alone.

Travelers and locals know that Jardin Nelson offers delicious meals and great service in a beautiful atmosphere. We had an amazing, well-paced lunch that left us stuffed and happy. Take a tip from the locals and skip the street-side patio where you'll be asked for money by vagrants and instead opt for the back garden where you'll be treated to a beautiful atmosphere and relaxing live jazz music.

Food and drinks were fantastic. Pitchers of sangria were priced right and went down quite nicely.Beautiful atmosphere with plants everywhere!!!Live band playing feet away. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a place that is about the experience, not just a place to eat. There's a wait to get in, but the restaurant is huge, so it has a fast turnover. Couples get in faster than 3+. They don't take reservations either.The inner courtyard is amazing, the food and service were good, and the jazz band was excellent!

On the outside this place really doesn’t look impressive, but looks can be deceiving… as soon as you walk back you’re brought into a beautiful courtyard garden with live jazz music in the background as you eat. I thought the places were fair considering what a beautiful place this was. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were extremely friendly! I highly recommend Jardin Nelson.

A must if you are in old Montreal. The atmosphere is unbelievable and beautiful. There are a lot of options for food, and we always do the sangria. Live jazz band every time we have gone. Recommend reservations, but if not they tend to move tables pretty quick.

Came for lunch and we were very pleased with our food. Service was excellent. We had someone who had quite a few allergies, it was very helpful that they had a list of all the allergens which made it easy for us to order. I had the seafood crepe and it was delicious.

This is my favourite place in Montreal. It’s a trip gem. I cannot resist coming here for a meal every time I visit the city. The team running the restaurant, including hosts, wait staff, chefs and others in the kitchen are amazing. They welcome diners warmly and have always made my visits special. And the band playing live jazz music is fabulous. Highly recommend it for casual or special celebratory moments.

Beautiful courtyard restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The house band and singer made a very European feeling. She sang both french and English songs. They sounded great and it really helped make our lunch a good experience along with flavourful food. It was very busy so we had to wait but the music helped the time go by. We all opted for crepes but my daughter had a salmon bowl. All the food was great and each of the components complimented each other well. We had lobster & seafood, Duck Confit and a Diva Chicken crepes. Everyone loved it, even the salmon bowl! Great drinks and local beers. Overall great atmosphere and food and drinks.
