Amazing food and super friendly service. Great concept!!!Stopped in for a quick dinner and had the prawn okonomiyaki pancake, fried chicken, and pork belly rice bowl and the food was absolutely delicious!!!Only thing I will note is that this food truck is located on another businesses property, therefore there is zero seating unless you're having food and/or drinks at the other establishment, so keep that in mind when ordering.

We stopped here after hiking and exploring beaches during really heavy rainfall. The okonomiyaki was rich and silky - so satisfying and warming. This was one of the best meals I had on my latest trip around the islandYou can bring the food into the brewery and enjoy tasty beer under a heat lamp. If it's nice out, you can eat on the brewery's patio.Recommend the spicy seafood okonomiyaki, pork belly okonomiyaki. Great kimchi and tater tots, too.

We ate it all!!!! Kimchi okonomyaki, takiyaki, and fried chicken! The okonomyaki (cabbage & carrot pancake) tasted great. Everything tasted great. The fresh brews from the Tofino Brewery made for a perfect pairing with this japanese street food made in a little retro trailer. So good on a colder fall day before a hike along the beach.

Order the okonomiyaki! Not many places make this. It was tasty! We had the pork & mushroom. Tater tots & fried chicken were so good and crunchy ♥️

I had the Japanese pancake with the pork belly. It was so tender and delicious. Wonderful flavor, great sauces and balance. Also had a really good bowlOf miso soup. Would for sure recommend for a quick warm meal. Really yummy food.

Food tuck beside Tofino brewing, was actually pretty surprised how delicious their food it. I definitely recommend getting some food and a drink from the brewery. Highly recommend the food!

Another food truck highly recommended in Tofino, there isn’t a huge sign so we went looking for the Tofino Brewery to locate this little Japanese street food kitchen. The food was delicious! No sit-down option but if you also purchase drinks from the brewery they will let you use their tables. We had both a rice bowl and one of their Okonomiyaki

I have eaten here on 2 separate occasions. The first visit was with my friend who was visiting from out of town. We tried the okonomiyaki and enjoyed our meal so much that I was raving about it to all of my friends, coworkers and my husband for the following week. I couldn't wait to go back and have this dish again!My second visit was an entirely different experience and this is why I have given a two star review. I took my husband for lunch just over one week after my first visit. I was so excited to have him enjoy the dish that I had been talking about for over a week.We ordered 2 miso soups, meat balls and the okonomiyaki as I was excited to have it again. The soup was mediocre, tasted waterd down and could have used more salt, but we are easy going and let this slide. The consistency of the meat balls was a bit rubbery for me, but again, no complaints as the flavour was good. Next up, the okonomiyaki! I knew as soon as I put the first bite into my mouth that something was different...The dish was not cooked through all the way, resulting in a starchy consistency. Because this dish is primarily made of egg, I was feeling a little bit nervous to continue eating it, so we decided to let the staff at Toki Doki know about this. Please keep in mind I was beyond excited to bring my husband here, and feeling disappointed that the dish was nothing like my first encounter.What happened next really surprised me. I was expecting one of two things to happen: first, for them to cook our existing dish just a little bit longer to ensure our safety and to provide a comparable dish to the first time I had tried it. I was not looking for a free meal, I simply wanted to enjoy lunch with my husband.Second, that they would do the right thing and re-make the dish, fully cooked and safe to eat ... but neither of these events transpired. The person on the truck looked at the dish, then pushed it back towards my husband and said it's cooked enough" and that was it!Absolutely zero attempt to make it right for us. This just didn't sit well with me. Customer service alongside consistency are two of many aspects required to run a successful business. It's a shame that I will never again be giving my business to Toki Doki and I will not be suggesting this establishment to friends

I ordered miso soup which was really good. Kimchi oko (japanese savoury pancake) was a very different taste but that zangi fried chicken - a chef’s kiss! The Japanese beef burger - wow the flavours!!!! Thanks guys for an awesome lunch :) do yourself a favor and be sure to try out this place that’s off the beaten path!!!
