Pappy's bbq Joint
If your in this part of the island it's a must stop, not far from woods island ferry, on the way to Charlottetown. Don't be quick to look for fish and chips because that's mostly what you'll get on the island... and believe me in no time you'll be greasy food out. Not only is the food great...I had the BBQ ribs and ceasar salad there's a great extensive play ground here for kids...corn maze, basketball, trampoline, large sand box with a ton of toys, swings, slides ect. Staff was wonderful and Hans (Pappy) even stopped by the table to check in on the dining experience.

Terrific BBQ place. Ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich potato salad, corn bread, Caesar salad and the dirty chicken poutine and sweet tea. Large portions but a little overpriced for some items overall. Potato salad was bland and the potatoes were hard. The staff were super friendly.

Omg! If you are looking for an Amazing bbq experience, put this HOT SPOT On your list of Must try. Ita beyond 5star. Flavors for days. We had brisket Sammy with side of fries and smoked sausage with a sauce created from the God's, with pickles and jalapeños, Omg, wish I could have bought a jug of this. Whether you stop at truck in parking lot or go into tge restaurant, this location is amazing. Looking forward to trying more meats next stop.

We have a Pappy's BBQ where I live in St. Louis, so of course we needed to check this one out. It was a great BBQ joint - the best we've been to in PEI so far. I ordered a Hot Chicken sandwich which is hard to get right even in the US! It was super, and actually hot! Loved it. Had a great conversation with the young lady in the shop - hope she remembers to watch Sling Blade"!"

Food was delicious. Restrooms were neet and tidy. Wait time was really a bummer almost lost our appetite, but depends on the time of the year you visit. Staffs were very friendly.

Absolutely decadent. Great portion sizes (read. Filling but not gluttonous). The Sweat tea is only ever so slightly sweet, it's banging.

This place is great if you love good bbq and a laid back country atmosphere, especially if you have young kids. Awesome spot for the whole family. Friendly staff. Love it.

Excellent BBQ! Phenomenal fall off the bone meat with equally good flavors. Right out of the south.Wait staff was helpful and very friendly.
