Lovebird Bridal Boutique

I had a wonderful experience at Lovebird this week with Moira and Tenisha, and I cannot say enough good things about them! One of the people who attended my appointment is extremely immunocompromised and the staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating - they cleaned the store prior to our arrival, ensured we had the store to ourselves for the duration of the appointment, helped us with the accessible entrance, and wore masks throughout. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my loved one could safely attend the appointment. And to top it off, I found my wedding dress! I don’t always like being the centre of attention but Moira and Tenisha made me feel so comfortable and we had so much fun as a group. Thank you for your kindness, I am so grateful to you both. I can’t wait for my dress to arrive!

I cannot recommend Lovebird Bridal enough! The most daunting and stressful part of wedding planning for me was definitely dress shopping but once I met the staff at Lovebird, I was so relieved. The selection of dresses is on the light side but is so beautifully curated. This store ended up having many more dresses that I could imagine myself getting married in than stores in the big city. The staff were so kind, caring, patient, and helpful. It was well worth the drive from Ottawa.

Had such a lovely appointment at LoveBirds! We arrived an hour late as we got the time wrong (totally our fault) and they still were able to take us & were happy to do so. The ladies working were personable & so kind. I didn’t find my dress there but it was definitely the best experience we had shopping for wedding dresses in Kingston!

Wonderful knowledgeable staff, patient and friendly. My future daughter in law said Yes to the dress. The lovely salesperson took pictures of us and provided non alcoholic drinks for a cheers !

Lovebird was such an amazing experience! The staff were so lovely to work with and listened to all thoughts and opinions I had for each dress that I tried on! Unfortunately, I didn’t end up saying yes to my dress at this boutique but I fully recommend to any future bride! On another note, I loved this boutique so much that I took my mom to it to find her dress for my wedding; she found the one and staff were so lovely with her! 10/10 would recommend! :)

Emily was a dream to work with while finding my dream wedding dress! She knew exactly what I was looking for and had great knowledge about designers and was helpful when finding someone near me for alterations. She was also so kind to my mom and bridesmaids during my appointment and fitting. My mom also found her perfect mother-of-the-bride dress here. I would 100% recommend Lovebird to all my friends in the future!

And Just Like That . . . I said yes to my Dress!Being a bridal stylist myself, I thought that it would be difficult to find a dress that I absolutely loved and one that would make me feel confident and beautiful.Intuitively knowing that I wasn't going to purchase my dress in the city we live in, my family and friends joined me on an adventure and took the 2 hour drive to Kingston specifically to visit Lovebird. I had contacted these beautiful ladies in March of this year to inquire about a dress that I had tried on in Ottawa at another boutique. I knew that Lovebird had the dress in a larger size and asked if they could contact the designer to bring in their smaller sample gown . In two days, they let me know that they would have it for my appointment.Before going into the boutique, I was nervous but that quickly went away when we were greeted by the amazingly beautiful Moira. We were the only ones in the boutique, which made it intimate and special. I let Moira know that I wanted to try a couple of other dresses before stepping into the one I was there for. She was kind, patient, and really made me feel that she was one of my friends along on my bridal journey. After trying on some dresses, we chose one more to try. I told her that if I didn't like it, I would put my dress on. I instantly knew that it was the one all along and Moira said you've got this". I went out to show my family and friends and my brother said "That's the one" It was a very special moment saying Yes with the people that I love and I cannot wait to marry my best friend in this dress.Thank you so very much Moira for making my dress journey so special and I'm glad we're friends now!! I had an amazing experience at Lovebird Bridal. First, it’s a beautiful store. Our consultant, Emily, was so wonderful. She pulled me so many beautiful dresses in the style I was looking for and she was great with me and with the group I brought with me. She knew better than I did what would be suitable for me, as she pulled me a dress I never would have pulled for myself or thought would be flattering. But I fell in love with it and it ended up being my dress! What made the experience that much better is that, this is the only bridal store (of the 5 total that I went to) that actually had dresses of different styles in my size (bridal 18), which was so important to say yes to a dress. The other stores carried primarily smaller sizes (requiring you to be be clipped into the dress with large gaps at the back), or the dresses were plus size and way too big (requiring the fabric to be tucked and clipped to try to show the actual shape of the dress). In both cases, it was impossible to tell exactly how the dress would look if it fit right (especially a more fitted gown- which is what I ended up getting. Every other store made trying on fitted dresses impossible). It was so nice not to have that problem at Lovebird. I would definitely recommend this store to any bride trying to find her dress!

Both apts I had at Lovebird were fantastic! Moira was with me for both & she’s simply fantastic. Made sure I kept in my budget & took my vision board perfectly to reality to find the perfect dress. She really knows her stuff, super supportive & caring. She makes the moment count & makes sure you feel comfortable & 100% sure. I was so excited to find my dress & she was super happy & excited for me too. It originally was the top I envisioned, but not the bottom-but I ended up loving it! She made me feel confident in my decision to go for what I truly loved. I didn’t ever feel pressured or anything. Moira went above & beyond by letting me come into the store during the sale weekend for my second apt which was really considerate of her. Both of the moms who attending my apt also loved the work Moira does & the person she is. I couldn’t believe when I found out later that Moira had only been at Lovebird for just over a year. I’m assuming she’s been in this field for a long time. If that’s not the case, then WOW. :) I’d recommend Lovebird to any future bride.
