Took my Sheltie (who was a total mess!)...she came out looking like a million bucks! Fast, accommodating service. Luna is a pretty anxious dog but came home super happy and relaxed. I see lots of extra COVID safety measures in place when I dropped her off as well.Thanks Donna, we will be back!!! :)

Disappointing customer service and lack of communication and follow through. Had an urgent grooming case for an older relatives dogs. Contacted royal city and explained the situation. At first they seemed understanding and booked us in for an appointment. On the day of they called to cancel due to weather and I asked to rebook right away for the first available appointment. They refused to rebook right away and stated they would contact me back.I tried contacting them back after almost 3 weeks but was never contacted back and I never heard from them again! I ended up finding diva dog groomers in Guelph and they were exceptional but royal city was very disappointing!

Donna (the new groomer/operator) does a great job. She has a lot of experience and always gives us exactly what we ask for. She is very sensitive to the dogs needs and wants it to be the best experience possible. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Needed to get my puppy washed asap. Donna was able to fit me in and she is very good and knowledgeable about fogs and various health issues. Highly recommend. Thanks Donna!

Donna loves our dog as if he were her own. On top of that she does exactly what we ask for everytime we take our pup for grooming. What more could you ask for? Charlie says thank you for taking such good care of him!

Dana is very good with pets . My dog, Meelo, was frightened before with a bad grooming and fortunatly, she was able to make him accept grooming again . So he stayed calm and nice with her, when she was working on his hair. Thank you Dana.

Donna is amazing. Our fur baby hasn't been to a proper groomer in over 5 yrs. He is super anxious and doesn't like his face or paws touched. She calmed him and was able to get him all cleaned up & trimmed (I wasn't sure she'd be able to do both). He looks great, will be much cooler and is so happy! Thanks, Donna!

As a first time dog owner I didn't have a regular groomer. I was lucky enough to go here. It was a great choice. Everyone I've dealt with is knowledgeable and kind but more importantly they are great with the animals. No dog is ever going to enjoy getting their nails clipped but Royal City Grooming Centre makes it quick and easy. They also saved our little puppy by suggesting we take him to the vet because he might have an infection. Be kind and tip well because it is well deserved and it saves you the struggle of grooming your own pets.

We visited Donna today, for the very first time. A friend had recommended her, and we will be going back! Donna and her colleague, have a good rapport with each other and the pets their grooming. Piper is a standard poodle, who likes to have her head and tail poofed, nothing fancy. Donna made Piper feel a little more settled, before we left. Donna did an amazing job! She listens to everything you share, and doesn’t hesitate to let you know, if you need to be aware of anything either. She asks questions to fully understand, what kind of grooming your pet needs. I was in shock as she truly has, your pet’s best interest in mind. You and your pet, will not be disappointed. Thank you Donna!

Donna is an amazing groomer. She knows what she is doing considering she has 40 years grooming experience. I brought my boy, Marty to her when the weather got warmer (April 2022) because he had a moderate amount of mats and needed to be shaved as well as had his nails cut from when I got him. She got him in asap even though they were very busy because they had to cancel a lot of grooming appointments because of the virus. You can tell she really cares about all the dogs that come to her.His second appointment (July 28th) the assistant groomer took care of my Marty. He got a basic groom and his nails done. Wonderful job. They even put his name on the bandana.I highly recommend coming here if you want your dog to have a good experience, especially if your dog is scared of the groomer. Very reasonable prices too.
