The best mochi and baked tapioca pudding in town! We love the fresh mango mochi and salted egg custard baked pudding. They sell out very fast so you would have a better chance to go on a weekday.

We spent $21 got the Mochi combo C (2 durian 2 mango) and 杨枝甘露，both taste very good. Will come back again. Just know it’s cash only.

Really good mochi and baked tapioca pudding. We came on a weekday and all the flavours were still available :) we tried the durian, purple yam, and mango mochi. All were really good. The mochi is so thin and so soft. The filling for all of them were really good. The black sesame tapioca pudding they will reheat it for you if you’re going to eat it there. My niece loved it even after finishing their mango pudding.Service was really good. They’ll review your order with you to make sure the total was calculated properly. I love the reusable take out bags that they provide too. Better than paper/plastic.

Amazing mochi and amazing people! We tried the mango mochi and the durian mochi, mango mochi was fantastic but the durian mochi was next level, of course you have to be a durian lover to enjoy it. I’m already dreaming about the next time I go back for the durian mochi. And the mochi skin is so delicate and soft and thin, definitely the best mochi I’ve ever had. We didn’t get to try anything else as we didn’t bring enough cash (it’s cash only so make sure you bring cash), but we’ll be back for more! The lady working there on Saturday afternoon was awesome too.

Great tasting Mochi!Recommended by a friend and now I’m passing it forward. Mochi are amazingly soft. Very soft texture. Reminds me of the way the mom used to make them.

This place has got the best mochi desserts in town. Mochi is super soft and chewy. The durian mochi melts in your mouth. Best eaten the day of purchase as they make it fresh daily. Will have to come back for the sago.

Bought the purple yam and mango mochi. Both were the perfect level of sweetness and the mochi was soft and chewy.Would definitely come back for more mochi and other things!

A decent spot in Richmond for mochi! I wanted to get the mango mochi at riceholic but of course they were already sold out and had no more walk in mochis available …I was still craving mochi dessert so decided to stop by Car’s Dessert. It’s a few minutes walk away so I made my over quite quickly. It’s upstairs in the food court and tucked away in the corner.I decided to get the two durian mochi and two mango mochi for $12.50. On the pricier side for its size. However it was still very satisfying. The mango mochi was just ok - was expecting more mango pieces and it was filled with cream as well. The durian mochi was my favorite - loved the creamy durian texture and flavor.Cash only!!

Absolutely LOVE the durian mochi here. It’s the best thing on the menu. The filling is cold, rich and creamy. Full of flavour and the mochi is chewy and super thin. I ate one box by myself within 5 mins. Sooo yummy. I also tried mango which was not great, not enough mango in my opinion. Chestnut was good and purple yam was also good. Tapioca pudding not the best.

Hidden in a plaza food court. It lived up to its hype and the durian mochi had a lot of durian filling at a reasonable price.Go early as I heard they do sell out.
