In the heart of a Canadian town I was able to speak to a mechanic working here on a Saturday for an urgent fix that involves an exhaust mount weld. The mechanic refused the work too busy working to finish a car repair for Monday" and chose to keep my exhaust holding on by a bike lock which I put on to keep it from falling off. Talk about meritable work ethic or having a little occupational responsibility. And the regular hourly charge here is $120/hour."

J’avais vraiment besoin d’aide, ma valve était fissuré et je devais remettre de l’air à toutes les 20 minutes. L’hotel le plus près disponible était à une heure de route, je suis arrivé 15 minutes avant la fermeture et ils n’ont pas voulu m’aider car il n’y avait pas assez de temps. Je suis revenus le lendemain à l’ouverture, ils ont encore refusé de m’aider en prétextant qu’il ne faisait pas de moto (ils auraient pu me le dire la veille), que leur horaire était plein. J’ai proposé d’enlever ma roue moi même, mais toujours un refus. J’était un fan de Canadian tire, plus maintenant…

Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre
I was having issues with my shift cable and my car wasn’t able to go into park. I called and Steven walked me through the issue over the phone and helped me identify the problem and how to fix it. I was able to get back on the road without even having to go to a mechanic. Thank you so much for your help :)
