We needed a place to stay between Dease Lake and Terrace, and we were so glad we chose to make the side trip to Stewart. The drive out and back is beautiful as is the scenery around Stewart itself. We stayed in a charming room on the upper floor of the Main Lodge building, which has a lot of character. It was clean and spacious with a microwave and small refrigerator; lots of counter space in the bathroom. The room also had a lot of light since it was a corner with two large windows. It's an easy walk to the main street, the visitor center, and the estuary boardwalk.

Rustic hotel and rooms. Very quaint. Our kitchenette suite had everything you need: mini fridge, cook top, microwave, coffee maker, TV, dining table and chairs, balcony and a large bathroom with shower. No AC but the fan helped when placed in the window. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great hotel with a lot of character. Rooms were clean and exceptionally large with a table and chairs, as well as a separate sitting area. Our room (310) had a nice view out the large window and a small deck off the back and was at the back of the building. I would have given it a 5 if the mattresses were better. Ours was old and sagged quite a bit in the middle but was reasonably comfortable.

It's a great hideaway in NW BC. There are well-appointed and individually decorated rooms. It is located in central Stewart and close to all the local amenities.

Room and area is lovely. We stayed in Room 307 which has a king bed and view of the back garden/yard.Wifi is unusable or costs about 19 CADFront desk staff was exceptionally unhelpful. We asked simple questions about hours of the border crossing or the local restaurant and they stated they “didn’t know” and made no effort to let us know where to find the information or help us find out.For 175 CAD I would expect free wifi and better front desk service.

Ripley Creek Inn is by far the best accommodation in Stewart. They have something for everyone, from rustic cabins to more conventional hotel rooms, all uniquely furnished and very comfortable. The place was much nicer than it looks in the photos on their website and one of the buildings has a sauna available to all guests. Also, its located right on the main strip but the buildings are all tucked back on the lot giving lots of privacy and stunning views of the mountains. I look forward to returning to Stewart so I can stay in some of the other buildings. If you're looking for a cookie cutter hotel, this is not the place for you.

The Ridley Creek Inn is likely the best accommodations in Stewart, though there aren’t many to choose from in general. The Inn is comprised of a few different buildings with most being original to the town from the early 1900s. We were in the Main Lodge and our room was massive for a 4-person hotel room. A few things were odd and perhaps expected of being in a remote location like Stewart. There was only 1 hour of free wifi for hotel guests - if you wanted more you have to pay. The TV was barely watchable as the video quality was very poor. The pillows we had were much too soft, so much so I had to fold mine in half. The room definitely had character and the space was appreciated, as was the in-room coffee via the Keurig machine. I’d stay here again when in Stewart but hopefully the minor issues are addressed in the future.

Staff have quite an attitude and didn’t feel welcomed at all, room was dirty and found chips that were not mine as well as hair ties and medical documents from the last person who used the room, they were just mixed in with the room papers.Lights were burnt out and hallway had no light left working so stairs were completely dark every morning.Probably still the best place in town to stay but they can also do a lot of work to get better.
