Absolutely love the store. I always wondered why the local Indian stores were so shabbily organized and had very little regard for how it presented its goods, but Swadesh is class apart. It’s squeaky clean and so well organized. Produce was laid out with care.Love that you can get fresh ground flour of your choice on prior notice. Also the initiative to pack dals in custom amounts (like bulk barn etc.) really like that.Only thing I’d like to see more of is, more organic grains, cooking oil etc.I’d love to come back and see this chain grow and prosper.

Visited this very neat and well organized Indian grocery store in Burlington which is decent in size but you can almost get everything needed in indian kitchen. Moreover you can shop utensils, religious paintings, wooden pooja mandir and much more. They have a restaurant inside with a small sitting area. Most interesting part that I saw first time in Canada is this store has flour mill where they were grinding wheat and you can also buy whole wheat from there and pretty sure you can grind any kind of grain you want. Great Customer service. Enjoyed buying groceries here.

This Indian store in Burlington is relatively new and went for the first time. Its well maintained and has wide selection of Indian groceries. The unique thing about this place is having flour maker machine. This is the only place where we got 2 lb and 4 lb wheat flour, everywhere else it's 20 lb packs. Prices are similar to Desi Mandi.

Decent Indian grocery store + Indian food for quick bites. Prices are reasonable and the staff are really helpful.You can always ask for fresh stock Incase you are not satisfied with the quality of items on the shelf!

I purchased a packet of (pav bhaji) pav from Burlington location and found out fungus on the pav. Also, the quality of pav is not good at all. Seems like pav is stale and taste bad. Although the expiry date mentioned on the packet is May 29 and I purchased it yesterday (23 May 2023).

I highly recommend Swadesh Supermarket located in Burlington. The staff are extremely kind and friendly and go out of their way to help you. I recently wanted to get a fruit basket made which a lot of stores refused as the festive season had just got over. I was pleasantly surprised when I approached the staff at Swadesh supermarket. They immediately knew what I wanted and went out of their way to give me various options. Their dedication was unmatched and second to none. I would highly recommend Swadesh Supermarket to anyone who has special projects in mind for festivities and even their daily grocery needs.
