Manfred responded promptly with a fair estimate, came out for measurements and consultation, and a week later installed a metal handrail for the steps in our front yard. He was courteous and professional and did exactly the work we had asked for at a fair price. I would recommend his company.

I had them make custom solid-steel rectangular balusters for me, and they came out perfect; exactly as described and requested. Most other places wouldn't even consider doing the job. They were flexible and attentive with shipping, prototyping, and anything else that came up. I'm very satisfied and glad I went with them!

I had placed an order for 28 solid balusters and had them powder coated, my issue is not the quality of their product which I believe to be fairly high but the way in which they package the items for shipping. The balusters were loosely placed in a cardboard tube and then packed with paper to fill up the remainder space, when I received them in Michigan most were severely scratch from rubbing against each other during shipping. I contacted C O ironworks about this and suggest that shrink wrap smaller bundles of balusters so they could not move during shipping, a reply came with in an hour and advised me to go to home depot and get a can of spray paint to take care of the paint damage, well I believed I had already paid C O ironworks to preform that task, my only issue was for them to protect the product from damage during the shipping. It was mentioned that they would add more cardboard when packaging. I think my point was not taken very seriously, either place each baluster in a plastic sleeve to protect them or some other means. these are a finished painted product and I should not be expected to take the time to repaint these because they were not properly protected when they left your facility. If I had ordered these unpainted there would not be an issue, but don't charge me for the cost of painting and then ship the items as if they were unpainted raw iron. G Fox

When it came to have Cast Iron Movers move me into my new place Jonah and Jonny were exception! Both these movers were on time and handled my furniture and boxes with care. I used Custom Ornamental Ironworks way back in 2009 for some custom ornamental balusters and was happy then. Fast forward to 2023 and another renovation, and I am happy to report the quality is still first rate, communication is great and prices still fair! Good consistent, well run company, highly recommended!

I used them for a custom gate fabrication at an apartment building. Their price was much lower than several competing companies I contacted who had quoted aluminum gates. The gate Manfred built and installed was a very sturdy all-steel construction, looks beautiful and works flawlessly with the commercial lockset. I would definitely use them again.

Marvin responded to emails on a project late at night - which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The balusters were produced and shipped as promised and delivery was on schedule. I needed some material for a handrail and railing. When I placed my order I had the wrong ends for the handrail. Custom ornamental called me and brought it to my attention. They were very professional in making sure I got the right material for my project.I just installed the hand rails and they look great.
