Y2K Nails

The tech I went too was good. Really nice and the nail art looks good. But a few things that where kind of a turn off for me is that I had booked a UV gel set and got acrylic nails instead this is the first problem I have because 1. I paid more and got less. 2 I am allergic to acrylic and the monomar that is used. This caused my fingers to be extremely painful yesterday.. 3. My cuticles where not removed making my nail bed look messy. 4. Some of my nails are Crooked and one kinda points in a different angle than the rest. However my pedicure looks great.

I had very bad experience with Y2K nails. I have done my nails for very first time as i dont know very much about it. You can see clearly see the gap between my nails and the cutting of my nails was also not properly done one nail is big one nail is small. The lady did my nails super fast as I’m not able see what she is doing although i was running late. I will never visit again as i have spoiled my $70 and my engagement party.

Tracy at Y2K is the best nail tech I have ever had! She understands the vision and always recommends the best styles and colours. No one can do a square shape like Tracy!

I recently got nail extensions done and I am so impressed with the outcome! Sunny did an amazing job and I am beyond happy with the results. Not only was she skilled and professional, but she also took the time to ensure that I was happy with the design and that my nails looked perfect. The salon itself was also great - clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch manicure :)

First time getting acrylics and visiting this place. Booked an appt for a pedicure and acrylic set. Me and my friend went and were seated fairly quickly. Pedicure was done ok. When getting the acrylics she cut my cuticles, leaving them bleeding on two different fingers. Wanted a simple french tip. Some nails were glued on crooked, and the french tip isn’t really even. Wasn’t expecting to have this problem based on pictures of their work. So basically they look good from far away. Paid $125 which was the biggest shock as the prices on their site had me estimate I would pay $90/$100 for the visit.Update: my pinky nail is starting to crack and cause me pain already, I can see some redness on the nail. There’s no way it should be starting to break 3 days after I got them done which leads me to believe it wasn’t glued on properly. I’m not even rough with my hands. Crazy

My first visit to this salon was a great experience so I decided to come back but the second set of nail extensions I got were not done properly. One of my nails fell off the next day and within only a week, I’m left with only 3 nails. It is also important I mention that my nails fell off for no reason, I was not doing anything too rigorous or moving in any aggressive manner so I was very disappointed when they just fell off. I believe they were not applied properly because the process was very rushed and very different compared to my last experience. I’m very disappointed as my first time coming to this nail salon was great but after this second experience, I will not be returning. I feel like I’ve wasted my time and money all for a set of nails that couldn’t even last over 1 week.

Got acrylics done for the first time ever and for my pre wedding shoot. Very very happy with how it looks! Ended up being a bit longer than what I needed but maybe I should’ve looked more carefully when they were asking me to verify the length lol. Overall satisfied!!
