Connect International School (CIS)

I had a good experience with this school. Every teacher and staff member is very helpful.About the class, the teacher made students feel comfortable to speak English and there were many team activities as well, so it helped me to improve a lot of English skills.Also, the break time is the same with other classes so I could talk with the other classmates and had a chance to know the other country's cultures.Although this school has few classes due to Covid, the school staff always tried to make small events for students such as potluck parties, picnics, field trips etc.My most impressive point was the PBL class" which included many presentations so it helped me to get a lot of confidence about speaking.I highly recommend this school to my friends or everyone who wants to learn English in many different ways. I registered my daughter for 3 weeks of English summer courses at CIS last summer.At first despite of the english test she had undertaken she was positioned in a very junior course and did not learn much during the first week, but the teachers and school staff were very attentive to the situation and rapidly repositioned her to a higher level course.The communication between the school and me was good, I was informed about everything that was important and got regular feedbacks, which is very reassuring for a parent.My daughter could experience a much more challenging environment after her repositioning and really appreciated her last two weeks, school atmosphere, learnings, relationship with other students despite of the difference in age she had to face.She had assignments and homework in the evening that allowed her to progress rapidly. Her confidence in English really improved.In summary, her CIS experience was a great one, from which she could benefit in multiple ways. She could also find true friendship around her in Toronto.The staff accompaniment allowed her to be very autonomous while evolving in a secure, friendly and nourishing environment.I can highly recommend Connect International School for any motivated child who wants to have a good development experience, improve english language while having fun and cultural exchanges.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning or improving their English. The smaller groups make you feel very confortable and you get to have lots of one-on-one with your teacher. I was lucky enough to be in Maria’s class, who on top of being a great teacher, she is also a wonderful person. The common areas are great and all the staff makes you feel at home since the first day. The way they teach English is very innovative, dinamic and fun!

Hi! I am a mother of two kids who attended CIS during July 2022. They are completing general english course +PBL. In my opinion this is the best decision we have made as a family coming from another country, to have them in CIS. We needed our kids to get more confidence and , obviously, learn as much as possible before starting school. After almost 3 weeks taking these lessons, they have learned so much, they are a lot more enthusiastic about learning english, and they do feel more confident when speaking. The teachers are so good and committed, they always encourage them to learn and all the people who work here make them feel great. All the activities planned are meaningful, relevant for the students, the material provided is interesting and so useful. It has been a win-win experience. I am so glad we found this place to improve my kids’ speaking skills. I am thankful of all the people who work here for having us and being such an important part of my childrens’ life.

The teachers were kind and the friends were funny.One-to-one classes were also very useful, and I was able to learn a lot through various external activities such as touring landmarks of canada provided by the school.It would have been better if my university was like this. Anyway, I want to recommend this school to everyone.

We are very grateful with Yujin and all the staff for their support, definitely it was an excellent idea to choose this school for my daughter Ingrid, she had a great time with their teachers and classmates and improved fast her English skills particularly speaking and writing. If you are looking for a place that really care about your sons, this is the right place. We had another experience with a recognized English Institute in Victoria, BC when Ingrid was 15 years old and was so far from the learning approach and the sincerely care of all the Connect International School staff. My time in Cis was amazing and this experience change my experience in Toronto. I had the opportunity to find good people who help me to improve my knowledge in English. I really find my place here. So would like to say thank for all support and for the amazing classes. I really learn a lot.

I had a wonderful experience at CIS. All staff and teachers are really kind, polite and warm. I spent 3 months there, and I made good friendships that I will keep for a lifetime, thanks to the CIS method of interaction, which not only made my English level improved but also provided me with incredible interpersonal experiences.
