This used to be a decent low-budget place. The rooms are not terrible. No holes patched in walls or that kind of thing. The bed is good and there are no bed beds. But they don't change the sheets. 14 days, I had to ask for clean stains towels. Take out the trash to a barrel in the parking lot. The water in the shower is hot, but the pressure is light at best. A 1 or 2 night stay to save money if you are tolerant. There several restaurants, two across the street, around and a grocery store. Safe travels.

For it being a cheaper location, it was a great place to sleep and shower. Service was super friendly, and was within 15 minutes of where I needed to be..would definitely stay again

After having the worst motel experience of my life at Sherwood motel in Brantford, the Davidson Motel in Paris was a breath of fresh m air. I mean, it's no Hilton, Best Western or even Comfort Inn, but you get a really decent comfortable somewhat renovated room that is much cleaner than other local motels. There is free wifi, flat-screen smart Tv's in each room with Netflix on it and you can wirelessly connect your mobile device or laptop to the TV and stream to the TV screen for best and optimal viewing experience. The downsides is there is no food, no breakfast, no swimming pool, no cleaning service that comes by during your stay (not even to swap out your linens and towels.. you have to approach the manager in his office which can be nerve-wracking because the motel staff are incredibly rude, short with you, impatient, bossy, nosy, yet don't even speak more than the absolute bare minimum of English.Also the soap bar's are tiny and the towels have brown spots and possible pubic hairs embedded into the fabric.I'll end on a positive note, it looks way less like a crime scene compared to the Sherwood. There I wouldn't dare take my shoes off it was that bad. Here I feel somewhat comfortable in bare or socked feet. it's still not the most sanitary place. but it's quiet here, no drama, no questionable characters outside all hours of the night (at least during my stay) and the Price is affordable and reasonable .

Pros: conveniently located to gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, place of worships, timmies. Friendly staff, good wifi connection.Cons: stained bedsheets, rooms smell like cigarettes, rooms overdue for a renno, not enough plugs, dirty towels and really thin walls. Need to noise proof walls in between rooms.

The room is clean, but it is definitely in need of updating and repairs. Comforter had burned holes and was very worn. There is a Tim Hortons in walking distance as well as w breakfast place and other restaurant.

Rooms are a bit beat up, but clean and comfortable. Still have smoking rooms so that's a plus for me, lol. Location is perfect, easy to get to and is located by Camp 31, gas station, grocery store, all day breakfast restaurant, Tim Hortons and chip wagon. Rates are very good and service is exceptional. Very quiet, no parties or loud guests. Lots of parking too!!

Extremely disrespectful and hostile staff.Room was disgusting, there was blood on the walls and ceiling, blankets were visibly soiled on one bed, and within 20 minutes of arriving my boyfriend was bitten by a bedbug (he's allergic and felt it bite him) we both clearly saw it as it tried to run across his pillow, we killed it and swiftly packed up what little we had removed from our bags before going to the office to request a different room or a refund.Staff was EXTREMELY rude and would not even let me finish speaking before they began repeatedly saying No

Our stay at the Davidson was the worst stay anywhere ever, including my losing the key and being charged $50 for the lost key, after the stay. On arrival we were in a rush to get to an appointment and did not question the loose toilet, lack of heat control, extra bedding etc. Without a key we were let back in by a person in the house. At 2:00 am there was a ruckus outside. At 3:00 am a policeman knocked but went to the next doors before I could respond. The room was so cold that my wife had to put on clothes and get back under the cover. There was hot water for a shower before leaving in the morning. The office door was locked just before we left. During a returned “missed call” shortly after leaving we were informed of the charge for the lost key but no agreement on compensation for lack of heat and other intolerable conditions. The Davidson Motel is a place to avoid.
