Without a doubt, East End Edge is the best skate sharpening in the city. Mike is also an overall great guy to boot! One tip though because he's so good: he does get busy on game nights at the rink so you might be better off visiting during non-peak hours.

The best and only place to get your skates properly and professionally sharpened. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Mike’s a great guy and always takes his time to do a great job. Can’t recommend him enough. Try East End Edge at Ted Reeve Arena and you won’t go anywhere else for sharpening.

Literally the best skate sharpening around. Every time we went somewhere else my son would always complain about the quality of the sharpening, when you are on skates 5 days a week it makes a big difference. Mike is thorough, always takes the time to make sure it's right, and is just an all around friendly and helpful guy.

Review long overdue. Used to go to just hockey off don mills but despite being known as a “hockey place” consistency was a bit lacking.. so many skates.. not to mention the many hour wait. Staff is decent but you’re just another number to them.Finding Mike at East End Edge was a godsend. Skates are done perfectly each time with care. Best of all Mike is just about the most down to earth genuine guy around and takes the time to get to know you. Highly recommended! I don’t even need to ask anymore 9/16th’s is automatic when I show up!

The only place I go to have my skates sharpened. Mike does a great job every time and always has top accessories when I'm short of something. Awesome guy, pay him a visit, you won't be disappointed!
