Fantastic experience from the very beginning. It all started with the initial conversation/consultation over the phone with Husain. From that moment and beyond, he had my needs and expectations met and surpassed.

In my experience, Alishia was always supportive, professional, patient, empathetic and kind. She creates such a supportive environment focused on bringing the best out of you. She strikes a lovely balance between listening and validating feelings, as well as working with you to come up with solutions or new perspectives that can help improve things. She also has a refreshing focus on equipping you with the skills and support to be able to take on life yourself. I can't recommend Alishia enough.

Alishia supported me to get through the fear and anxiety after an accident that changed my life and to find ways to uncover my talents and strengths, along with that i was able to understand past experiences and family dynamics. Alishia was a wonderful, supportive supervisor. As I launch my counselling career, it is so important to get both constructive and positive feedback in a safe environment. Alishia really delivered! Her warm and engaging presence radiated right through Zoom, as she listened intently to clips of client sessions I brought to her, and then provided specific feedback about how I could better support my client, while encouraging me and highlighting the things I was doing well. Alishia helped me hone in on specific areas of growth and, with her guidance, I gained the skills to confidently move from practicum student to counselling professional. Thank you, Alishia!

Alishia is an amazing counselor. She has been working with me for a little over a year now. I see Alishia once per week. I started working with her after my first car accident. Unfortunately, I had another car accident about 5 weeks ago. Neither of the car accidents were my fault, I was rear ended both times, and there was nothing I could do to avoid them. She is really good at listening, has lots of ways to help me cope with stress, anxiety, depression, frustrations in life. I really look forward to every single appointment with Alishia. I can tell she genuinely cares about me. I love her flexibility to be able to either see me in person or on-line counselling, it's very convenient for me. Alishia is very well versed in trauma counselling, and uses a variety of helpful techniques to help me cope including cognitive behavioural therapy, meditation, and some times I just vent for some of our sessions and so much more! Dealing with the frustrations , mixed emotions, and pain I go through on a daily basis as a result of my car accidents, it's so nice to have someone objective to listen to your issues. My wife can only take so much, and Alishia is there to take on all my frustrations with ease. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with Alishia from the very first session with her, and I still feel that way, after every session. I highly recommend Alishia! I have tried other counsellors in the past over the years, and I have never found one like Alishia. She is like a diamond in the rough!!! :)

I have been seeing Alishia for the last 2 years. She has helped me immensely during my journey with anxiety. Alishia made me feel super comfortable from the very moment I met her. Alishia is an outstanding and very caring professional. She has many skills and different approaches to handle each issue separately. I’ve had massive anxiety after an accident and she has given me my strength and courage back to almost where it was before the incident. I’ve been going to her for a couple years almost and she has progressed me ways I wouldn’t imagine. She also enabled me to open up on other past scenarios where I wasn’t able to talk about until now.
