Canoe Landing Park
Great outdoor activity space in the heart of the downtown live / work community. So much offered here with elements for casual social encounters facilitated by benches and seats with family affairs for those with kids to play in the great playing areas suitable for 2yrs upwards. There are basketball courts along with an artificial turf open for physical activities or group sessions. One of the most open facilities I've come across thus far.

Beautiful empty space for people to exercise and jog. Nice sculptures sculptures too. Very good view of the neighbouring skyline. Breath of fresh air in the concrete jungle !

Canoe Landing Park
Canoe Landing park is a beautiful downtown park and is seriously underrated in comparison to other parks in the city. Not only is the green space lush but it also has a brilliant atmosphere. There is a recreational sports field that is where rec leagues play. The field is made out of Astro turf. The park itself has many walking paths with impressive views of the CN Tower. The layout is designed where park visitors will not be blocked by future building developments due to the expressway layout.

Canoe Landing Park
New playground built this summer made it a perfect place for toddlers and small children to spend their mornings with joy. It could be larger as there is still large empty land with wild grass. And swings! It is definitely wanted!

Canoe Landing Park
Years of seeing Canoe Landing Park from the QEW and Lakeshore we finally had an opportunity to visit the park. Very interesting and love the art type designs. Perfect for children and all types that enjoy the outdoors. Children's play grounds, sports fields, the large canoe overlooking the QEW and the city. Then walking out seeing a large image of Terry Fox. Nice to see his legacy kept alive.

This is a awesome place for sports, outdoor walk or exercise. This is a completly free park and so many people come here in the summer time. You can visit here with your family, kids will love it especially after built the playing are for them its become so popular. Love the art and structure they made in the park. There is also a sepate pet area where you can go with your pet. Location is very convenient.

Canoe Landing Park
One of the best revitalization projects in the city. This park really has it all. Fantastically well-maintained and situated. Contains a rare public turf soccer field, basketball courts adjacent to the community centre and a dog park. A variety of terrains and world-class Toronto views give energy to any visitors. Also, one of the few water fountains remaining in the area.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad that the city has finally designated some more land to parks and public use, but this park is a little underwhelming.1. The rats. Why are they everywhere? It's particularly infested next to the off leash dog park and kids playground. That's not safe for animals or people. The city needs deal with that!2. Some kind of signage for the bathrooms would be good, and given the population density of the neighborhood, there should be permanently opened ones like at stanly park during the fair weather months.3. What is with the lack of trees in parks? This park has wide open feild of dried up grass. Trinity Bellwoods most used areas of the park have shade from trees, nevermind the environmental importance.4. Calling it Canoe Landing and putting in some art that I guess could be indigenous is a start, but how about using the park as a place to curate indigenous public art, and educate people on their cultures, and principles? (And pay the artists)I just think there is much work to be done in this park, and given all the tax dollars those dense communities are giving to the city, why not give them something good like La Fontaine park in Montreal, or our own High Park?If you enjoyed this review maybe check out my review for the sister park bastien park/fort york/garrrison crossing/Stanley north and south. That place deserves better too, as they interconnect, making it the biggest park in downtown Toronto.

Canoe Landing Park
This is a fairly big park. There is a dog run for dogs and a playground for kids. My daughter likes the playground. However, there aren't many things to do here so it gets boring for her after 5 minutes. There are better playgrounds in downtown Toronto so I don't know why this playground got short changed. There is also a field with artificial turf here. It's for the school mainly. However, when school isn't in session it is free to use. Unfortunately, that doesn't extend to dogs. Some dog owners don't care and will unleash their dogs here. Very dangerous.
