Bath Fitter

We used bathfitters to renovate our older 1983 bathroom . The team was pleasant from start to finish . We did need someone to come back to close up an open seal at the top of the shower but the wall is not straight so not their fault . Looks great and they prefer the original worker to come back which took a few weeks or so to find a time that matched our schedules . Totally recommend them for a fresh upgrade if you are thinking about it .

Beyond our expectations, very professional staff for the initial visit, installation crew was a dream, office staff has been wonderful. Despite not letting us into the warehouse to see the bath fixtures (with medical mask exemption) we were very pleased with the whole process.

What a great service! Super happy with everything from the estimate through to the install ... they were even able to work around the troublesome window. I wish every company was this great ... thank you so much!

After 20 years the tub insert and surround wall are like new. I was neglectful, at times, with the caulking and water got between the tub and insert. Rob came out and advised me what to do, a simple but effective fix to drain the water. Came back 3 days later and recaulked beautifully. He has an amazing work ethic, very professional and a guy who truly cares about the customer. Well done Rob!

Bathfitter installer named Rob removed old tub and installed walk-in shower with the assistance of Ed. Rob was able to solve the problems he encountered and the finished product looks great! I very much appreciated the way that he answered my questions and explained how everything worked. Very professional and personable team. Thanks guys!

The bathtub was installed with the doors on order and the young fellow that came was amazing! He installed the tub while I went shopping and he cleaned up so well. The doors he installed today and they are beautiful. This young man was personable, fast and efficient. It is so nice in this day and age to see such a committed young person enjoying their job and being so professional. Thank you Bathfitter for hiring such personal and capable staff.

I was not impressed at all with the installer. After first day, I had to call office about gaps left between floor and tub. The installer was unprofessional and rude when I met with him the next day.In addition, the installers left all of their tools and equipment in my place. They also wore work boots inside my house, requiring carpet cleaning.Left damage to walls in bathroom and trim work.

Words cannot adequately express how terrible my experience was with Bathfitter Parksvile.Firstly, I was told service would be in 7-9 weeks after my $3000 deposit, however installation occurred 15 weeks after I paid my deposit. I asked to return my $ so that I could get service somewhere more timely and they refused.Secondly, my installer made very causal transphobic remarks to my partner and I, discussing an experience he had in another customers home where the installer Darcy described on of the partners as a “Tranny” and then went on to tell us about how weird this was and how the couple got upset that he kept referring to the trans woman as the other partners husband. Darcy was unaware that my partner is a trans man, but passes. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.Thirdly, we did not like the shower head that was installed and I let the installer know one day after installation that I wanted to return it. He insisted I “try it out” before I return it, even though I told him I didn’t want it.Fourthly, when I went to pay my invoice, I told the office staff, Amber, that I STILL wanted to return the shower head, they refused, citing that it was now 30 days past installation (I had gone out of the country for 2 weeks and had been unable to call before). I told her the installer had said to try it out and she said he would “never say that”, calling me a liar. I insisted and she said she spoked to the manager and would make a one time exception to refund for it (it was also marked up 50% from what home depot charges for the identical unit).I also told the office that I wanted to talk to the manager about the transphobic experience we had, and she said the installer also said he never said what we claimed. I insisted that the manager call me to follow up with this.She charged me, and when I received my invoice, she had charged me the additional $268 for the unit she told me they would refund me for, and when I called she said that the manager “changed his mind”.I again insisted I speak to the manager about all of this, and no one called me. I have called to follow up across several months, and the manager refuses to speak with me. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Literally go anywhere else, this business is a sham and will lie to you and respond in the most unprofessional ways. I will be filing a consumer protection claim and reporting them to the BBB.

I had my old tub from the 70’s replaced with a beautiful walk in shower last November. The only complaint I had was the was the almost 5 months wait. But they did warn us. Now that I have had one knee surgery I can really appreciate the shower. Easy to get in and out, dual shower heads with one hand held and the professionally installed grab bar make it easy for me to shower safely on my own! Don’t miss climbing over the tub side for a shower. Thank you!

This entire company and staff were nothing shy of amazing! We LOVE our new bath, everything was clean, on time, professional, and amazing value! Highly recommend!
