Groat Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I read the reviews, i was really scared of doing the wisdom removal there. I glad my husband convinced me. My wisdom teeth were in worst position. I was really afraid of general anesthetic. The doctors in clinic have many years of experience. It was more complicated . I have to wait one hour because it was an really difficult surgery before my surgery. I care about good doctors, amazing nurses and great procedure. They are not most sociable people, however they are really polite people. My husband was late because of icy road. The nurse was there taking care of me and supporting me. For person who suffers panic and anxiety attacks was the best experience. The folllow the covid 19 procedure. Dont let bad reviews scare you.

I highly recommend the Groat Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Kreutz and all his staff are very professional and caring. I arranged to have all four wisdom teeth removed and prior to the appointment was very nervous. The doctor and staff were very calm and talked me through the procedure and what to expect. Before I knew it I was being woken up by a very nice nurse who helped keep me calm and explained all my after surgery care. Before a previous appointment,I had to reschedule and the receptionists were helpful and kind. I would not hesitate to seek further care from Dr. Kreutz and his team,if I required any future oral surgery.

My son recently had impacted wisdom teeth removed. Our experience with this clinic was fantastic. Front staff are friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. The surgeon and support staff have a great bedside manner, are calming, funny and extremely supportive. Less than a week after surgery, he is feeling great with very few lingering effects. Highly recommend this clinic!!

I was nervous reading the other reviews but I honestly had a great experience getting my four wisdom teeth removed here. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the entire process was very smooth and well-explained. I was in and out in about 1.5 hours which was very impressive and efficient. I had to follow up a couple of days later about a medication switch and they arranged that quickly and without hassle. The post-surgical pain and swelling were quite manageable.

Its worth mentioning that I had 2 appointments, a consultation and then the procedure (wisdom teeth) a few days later and BOTH times I showed up on-time and was made to wait OVER an hour both times. This was very frustrating for the consultation because it only took about 3 minutes once the doctor finally came and I hadn't planned to be away from work all afternoon. Was also frusturating for the surgery because although my appointment was 1:15 I didn't go in until nearly 2:30 and I hadn't been able to eat or drink since midnight the night before. Then of course after the surgery your mouth hurts to much to eat. That being said, I haven't had any issues with the surgery at all and therefor suppose it went well and would recommend for that reason. The staff who put me under were very nice and kept me very calm, which was great! I also found it a off-putting that the day the doctor took out my teeth I didn't even see him.... I was put under by a different medical team and woke up to a nurse telling me after-care instructions. I had some questions and really wondered how the surgery went but no one was available (The doctor was probably late for the next appointment and had to go which I understand) but I would have liked some more information about what happened.

My daughter was referred here after being hit in the face with a baseball bat. They were amazing. Staff was super friendly and efficient even thought we were in the middle of the pandemic. They got could have got her in the same day for surgery but she just had a smoothie. They got her in the next day. The follow ups were great and she has healed amazingly in the past 2 years and is finally able to get braces. I can't thank them enough for their efficiency and their work on my child. Her teeth are all healthy and intact.

Dr. Kreutz did an awesome job with my wisdom teeth. Minimal swelling, bleeding, and pain. The anesthesiologist and nurses were very friendly and comforting. Don’t let the bad reviews scare you… they are some of the best!

Before going in for my bfs appointment I was reading the reviews. Let me just say that we did not experience anything but great service. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. Maybe not overly friendly but they are at work. They are not there to entertain. They have things to do. My bf said the doctor was very nice and informative. He felt very comfortable and in good hands. The nurse that gave me instructions for him for after care was very nice as well. We had a great experience. From the time we arrived to the time we left was an 1.5 hours. That seemed quick to me but I'm not a dentist lol. I would return and recommend.

The wait was a little long but the surgery itself was so quick and not as scary as I thought it would be, given that I had a full set of very impacted wisdom teeth. The ladies at the front seemed to like each other and their job and they were sweet and professional. I didn’t talk to the doctor himself for very long but he made things clear and consise and plainly had a lot of experience. The best part, though, about the whole experience was the nurse that brought me in to do the surgery. I want to say her name was Shirley but I don’t remember for sure, but she was the sweetest, gentlest woman. She could tell I was scared and just had the kindest touch, you could tell she cared about her patients. What a wonderful lady! Book surgeries elsewhere. Front desk staff are rude. I was weighed for my anesthesia and I knew my clothes were weighing me down quite a bit. I wanted them to have my correct weight so they didn't give me too much anesthesia. Front desk staff laughed at me and said it didn't matter that much. Yes, it does or you wouldn't be weighing me in the first place. I didn't bother booking an appointment with someone who doesn't take anesthesia seriously and would laugh at clients.
