Cars, clothes and furniture auction place. You might need to get there early to get the good stuffs. You get a total of 24% tax on many of the stuffs you buy, though the prices are fairly cheaper than many places in Saskatoon. So you need to calculate the tax with the prices on the tags and use your discretion to judge if its a fair deal for you.

SCAM SCAM SCAM - Buyer Beware PBR Auctions Saskatoon. In the past I have enjoyed attending live auctions and participating in recent online auctions at PBR. I enjoy the excitement of bidding and winning and getting some decent deals on items. Unfortunately my positive experiences with PBR ended after the Saturday July 23, 2022 Noon Auction. I had signed into my account to see what was in the auction as well as to get a read on what items were selling for. First red flag, after logging into my account I was asked for a credit card to have on file, which really I had no major concerns with. Second red flag, PBR took a $300 pre-authorisation/deposit to enter the auction. While a new policy I really had no issue as it provides backing for items purchased in the auction and to provide security for PBR in the event people don't pick up their items when they could have sold to another bidder. Not really thinking much until checking my CC statement I see an actual charge on my CC for $309 so of course I called PBR to ensure a mistake was not made and that the charge was just a pre-auth and that I would be refunded these funds. The staff member at PBR said the $300 would be returned but that the $9 would be kept by PBR as a 3% processing fee. Still not clear on what the 3% processing fee was considering I had not purchased anything it was advised that I speak to Chet the owner whom by the way was extremely rude and disrespectful. Chet simply stated that it was what was agreed to when I logged in to the auction. He went on to say the $9 was for Credit/Debit processing fee and if I had issues with the charge to bring it up with a lawyer. In reading the rules and terms and conditions on the PBR website the wording on this 3% fee is up for interpretive debate as well several sections contradict one another within these sections. Also credit/debit processing fees are usually a few cents to a couple dollars, charging $9 or 3% on whatever amount they deem appropriate on a deposit is theft and unethical business practice. To put things in perspective if for example 1000 people entered the auction on Saturday and did not bid or bid and did not win any items, that would be close to $9,000 less any actual transaction fees in clear cash to PBR. If that does not scream SCAM I don't know what else is.To say the least I have initiated a charge back though my CC and refuse to step foot into this business or participate in their online auction ever again. There are other options out there and I would encourage others to pursue charge backs on this ridiculous fee, When you check into a hotel they pre-auth a CC for incidentals and when you check out that amount is credited back in full...not sure why PBR should be any different.Initiate charge backs, shop elsewhere, and call PBR to express your concerns. I get times are tough, but times are tough for many, especially those looking for good deals at a place like PBR. Regardless of how PBR wants to word their new policy to me this is unethical business practice. Read some of the recent google reviews as well for further evidence of this unethical behaviour.

This place wants a $200 deposit to watch the auction.... Customer for over 20 years. Completely done buying here !! Other auctions places don't charge like this. No wonder PBR is almost dead !! Take your items to a place that will get you a real dollar. East Indian guy on the phone is extremely rude!

Brand new clothing at discounted prices is one of the best places to start shopping. The in house restaurant is great for breakfast and great daily lunch specials. Always easy parking and some days fresh produce is available, also walk around and view items for upcoming online auctions

I’ve got some really good deals here. I’m leaving 3 stars because of their website. It’s not mobile friendly. When you try and log in from an iPhone it just times out again and again. This has happened a few times and I’ve lost a fair share of items because of it. Please get this fixed!

Nothing like it used to be years ago. Car sales is online only. In house auction doesn't seem to be going either. Both in house auction rooms seem to be just storage now. The shop has very limited stuff too, like I said it's nothing like it used to be. I used to go nearly every Saturday and some Wednesdays, hadn't been there in years and was really looking forward to getting there when I was in town, very disappointed when I did get there. The restaurant is still open tho.

Used to be a great place to find outdoor tools, furniture, lighting etc. They recently closed down their clothing shop and moved it into the warehouse. Now all they have are old returned Costco clothes and nothing worth purchasing. Haven’t found anything the last 3 times I visited. Will give it another shot in a month or two to see if they switched it back to having decent stuff.

It's never been the best place but lately it got way worse. Now there are only outdated food, rotten produce and other items are not that much cheaper that you would want to risk it for that discount.

Great prices for some products. Some are at retail prices.Customer service sucks. Picked an item marked at $10.99, went to grab a cart and we were planning to add few more items. Came back to get an item in 20 seconds and staff changed the price from $10.99 to $16.00.When we asked, lady told us, prices went up. Bunch of scum bags working here.
