Norwood Community Centre

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you are looking for a wedding social venue, do not look any further, snag your date when you can! Barry and his teams attention to detail, organization and communication ensured that the two of us and our families had a memorable and successful evening. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you to the Norwood team for everything.

My fiancé and I just had our social here on July 23 and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother day. They had someone there right at 12noon to let us in to set up (they give you 3 hours and that’s plenty of time) they had all the tables set up with table clothes prior to us getting there so that was amazing saved a lot of time. We went back at 730pm and we were greeted by Shaun who was very friendly and nice, if we needed anything or had any questions he was always around for help, kept checking with us to make sure that we were ok and if we needed anything. The hall provides security at the door and also provides everyone with wrist bands (I know their job is probably not to exciting so let them have some snacks like we did lol)The bar tenders my goodness so damn friendly and always smiling!!! Make sure to tip them, they did such an amazing job and the night went so smooth having them hall supply them, I cannot say enough how friendly they were. The DJ was amazing kept my fiancé and myself on track with the time frames that we provided him with at the start of the night! And got everyone on the dance floor eventually (once people got some liquid courage in them)Our social went so smooth and it was such an amazing time, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better evening, there is so much stress leading up to a social but Norwood made it amazing and so stress free we cannot thank them enough!The memories that you will make will be with you forever

Went to the Bonsai festival. Nice attached park. Nice friendly people sitting and meeting in the park

Beautiful grounds for my kids to enjoy. Makes a good social hall as well.

Very well run, clean community centre. Excellent spot for socials!

I went to social, and the center was clean, accessible and accommodating. It had a very nice main hall, and I appreciated the outdoor deck. The only thing was the parking. I noticed throughout the night that people in the apartments were parking in the Norwood parking lot. Other than than the parking, I would recommend the Norwood Community Centre.
