Mike, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and helpful. He went out of his way to help me sort out my online order, and that too on a Saturday. The lovely woman working was so sweet and special too. Big brand with family business like feeling. Loved my experience and was very grateful.

5 star service!!! Brandon was extremely helpful when i called in, patiently explaining to me what culking they had available. When i came in, he was waiting close to reception in order for me to let him know what i was coming in for and he was very quick to go with me get the items. I was very impressed needless to say as I've been to many hardware stores but no service has impressed me as much as the service I received today by Brandon. Cheers!

I went there to buy a copper elbow and didn't have cash. They don't accept plastic under $5. Left the store a little disturbed after they said everyone carries cash.

I just had a wow experience at the local home hardware store in Clarkson. I recently bought some nuts and bolts. As usual for me it seems anyway - I bought the wrong size.This review isn’t about me, it’s about the service I had both times. It was a real pleasure to walk into a store and have assistance when I needed it. Both times the service was pleasant and the person helping me actually did the matching of the nuts and bolts, instead of pointing me in the direction of the bins. I will be frequenting this site more often now.

An excellent hardware store with a gorgeous small town feel. I find everything I need and every single time a staff member offers to help. I love that!!

I accidentally cut my garden hose, and I called the store to ask if they had repair kits, and surely they did. I took my hose in just to be 100% sure that the kit would work. Even though it seemed straightforward, Mike asked if I would like them to do it, and I said, yes"! They didn't even charge me for it. I was so grateful for their help. Thank you

I love going to this hardware store. It’s not overwhelming in size and they really do have everything I am looking for whenever I go. And it’s nice to support the neighbourhood hardware store rather than buying from Amazon!!!

LOVE this store. The staff are super helpful and friendly, and if there’s anything we need that they don’t have, they will order it for us. So thrilled to still have a smaller Canadian-owned business for our hardware needs. Even though we live some distance away, and have big box stores closer to us, we prefer to get our garden supplies and home maintenance items at this Home Hardware. It’s a completely superior experience here to wandering through the soulless colossal hardware chains. We support well-run Canadian businesses whenever possible and will happily pay a bit more if necessary for the excellent experience—it’s good for our economy and good for our sense of belonging to something local where the employees are awake, tuned in and actually interacting with us as fellow human beings. Can’t say enough how much we appreciate it.

This is my favourite Home Hardware store. The people are friendly, helpful and know what they are doing. So nice to be in a store and have them help you find what you need.
